Being back from my amazing trip in Hong Kong is not easy however I have so much to share with you. Hong Kong really caught my heart and it is city that offers everything and so much more. It reminds me NY a lot  and plus all those amazing beaches and the weather. The reason for my visit was to see one of my best friends that moved there. As she lives in Water Bay the choice of the hotel was clear. I picked Ovolo Hotel on the Southside.

The location was spot on for us. You can escape the super busy city center and be close to lovely beaches and experience the more relaxed side of Hong Kong. And it costs only few pounds in a taxi to get where you need.

As soon as I entered in the hotel I felt exactly like in the latest trendy spot in London Shoreditch. If you ask why? This hotel is all about the latest trendy industrial interior and cool vibe. It is exactly the spot where all the cool crowd visiting Hong Kong would hang out and it offers great service and comfort.

Every day we had a lovely breakfast which offers lot of choice under the sky on the hotels spacious terrace. You have so much choice from fresh juices, through different pastries to eggs Benedict.

The room was comfortable, modern and very functional. The layout is well designed and works for smaller spaces. One of my favourite features was great shower and super comfortable bed.

The hotel has got everything you would expect from a place like this. If you feel like gym you got it. If you want to have few drinks in the bar or find a quiet spot for reading a book you can find these as well.

We had a such a lovely stay in the hotel and I will definitely be coming back when I am visiting Hong Kong.

Byt zpatky ze skvele dovolene v Hong Kongu neni vubec jednoduche. Hong Kong me chytil za srdce, je to mesto, kde najdete uplne vsechno a je tam neskutecna energie. Duvodem navstevy bylo konecne se podivat za mou vybornou kamaradkou, ktera se tam prestehovala a rozhodla se usporadat skvely Silvestr. Jelikoz bydli v Hong Kongu ve Water Bay rozhodla jsem se pro hotel Ovolo on the southside.

A nelitovala jsem, je dal od rusneho centra a taxikem nas to stalo par liber denne do centra a Southside opravdu nabizi spoustu uzasnych plazych a uvidite tak trochu jiny Hong Kong. Kdyz jsem vkrocila do hotelu citila jsem se jako v nejnovejsim trendy butikovem hotelu v Londynske ctvrti Shoreditch. Jak interier tak atmosfera se nese v podobne stylu jaky vidite prave v teto ctvrti. Interier je velmi industrialni, funkcni a pusobi neskutecne cool. 

To samozrejme neubira na pohodli, ktere nam hotel poskytl. Snidane je bohata a kazde rano jsem snidala na venkovni terase se skvely vyhledem, protoze pocasi bylo opravdu prijemne. Myslim, ze 20 stupnu je dostatecne na to, si uzivat jidlo na cerstvem vzduchu.

My last trip to Paris was typical girly weekend and unlike during Fashion Week I actually had lot of time to enjoy myself and have lazy mornings in bed. I stayed again in a lovely boutique hotel near Arch de Triomphe – Monhotel.

It is a real luxury for me to spend mornings like this. When I  wake up I start with cup of coffee in the bed and do a bit  of blogging, reading and just relaxing. And I actually can afford to have a bath without feeling stressed and thinking about my agenda. I cannot express how much this means to me as I am always on the go.

And hotel breakfasts are one of my favourite things in the world. I wont lie…I always eat way too much as I  feel I need to try everything. However, it is holidays after all so why the hell not? Mornings like this are the best moments and I wish I could have this more often.

Pri me posledni navsteve Parize jsem narozdil od Fashion Weeku nemusela nikam spechat. Byl to takovy skvely holcci vikend a uplne nejvic jsem si uzivala rana. To je pro me luxus. Opet jsem se ubytovala v butikovem hotelu Monhotel, ktery je kousek od Arch de Triomphe.  Misto toho abych spechala jsem si kazde rano udelala kavu a stravila alespon hodinu v posteli. Cetla jsem si casopis nebo blogovala a uzivala si ten pocit, ze nemusim nikam spechat.

A dalsim luxusem je pro me moznost si dat velkou vanu plnou bublin s tim pocitem, ze nemam pred sebou kopu prace nebo dalsi schuzku. Opravdu silene relaxujici moment. A obcas si ve svem uspechanem zivote preju tohle mit alespon trikrat tydne. Budu skromna…haha

A samozrejme jak vite, tak hotelove snidane si uzivam na maximum. Priznavam se, ze tim, ze chci vzdy zkusit vsechno se vzdy prejidam, ale kde jinde bych to mela delat nez na dovolene, nemyslite?

As most of the people I like to be spoiled. Sometimes I do not need much however it is great if you have a chance to enjoy life and enjoy lovely things that cross your path. If you are a regular reader you may remember that South France is one of my favourite European spots. My dream is to have a holiday home there. During my last visit I also stayed in Cannes and this time I picked luxury hotel Martinez. Situated on the promenade it is literally few steps to the beach and it has got some of my favourite shops on it’s door step. It does not matter if you are a Celine lover or Zara lover you will find anything there.

And oh yes I was very spoiled. I stayed in a top class room with even better views on the sea and enormous terrace. Who would not like to soak the sun rays on your private roof top deck?

We also could not get over the huge breakfast choice. You cannot ask for more…sipping your morning latte and looking at the sea and sun coming out. I came to Cannes for relaxing weekend and that is what I got.

And I am definitely trying out their beautiful spa during my next visit as it does deserve special attention.

Jako vetsina lidi se rada rozmazluju. Umim byt i nenarocna, ale kdyz ma clovek moznost si zivota uzivat tak proc ne. Pokud tento blog ctete pravidelne, tak vite, ze jizni Francie je jedno ze mych nejoblibenejsich mist a pri posledni navsteve jsem si na cast pobytu zajela i do Cannes, kam se moc rada vracim.

Je to mesto kde clovek ma vsechno a nikomu nic nechybi. Jsou tu plaze, restaurace, krasna mista a dokonce i fantasticke obchody. Tentokrat jsem se ubytovala v hotelu Martinez, ktery se nachazi na promenade. A tady jsem se rozmazlila mozna az moc od snidane s obrovskym vyberem az po pokoj s terasou z prekrasnym vyhledem na more. A jak vidite asi z fotografii pocasi se vyvedlo a o to byl nas pobyt jeste lepsi.

Weekend escapes are one of my favourites especially when they involve time to relax, good food and my favourite locations. French Riviera may not be a first place you think of for a November escape however I decided to see what it is like in the winter. I stayed in my favourite Nice Hotel Palais de la Mediterranee and you may remember my previous stay when I came there for Cannes Festival.

And I was pleasantly surprised. The place is lively, so much to do, the restaurants are still buzzing and the weather is very good. I think it could become easily my favourite weekend winter sun break. And what does a blogger like myself do on a trip like this? I hope these pictures say it all.

Prodlouzene vikendy mam ze vseho nejradsi a hlavne pokud muzu odpocivat na miste, kde je trochu slunicka a da se tam relaxovat. Francouzska riviera je jedno z mych oblibenych mist a kdyz to neni prvni misto, ktere vas napadne, kdyz chcete jet za slunickem v zime, tak jsem se rozhodla jet prave sem. A opravdu toho nelituju. Prvni den jsem stravila v Nice v mem oblibenem Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Mediterranee. Mozna si pamatujete muj predchozi post, kdy jsem prijela letos na festival v Cannes.

A jak vypada takovy muj den na francouzske riviere? Snad vam fotky trochu napovi.
