You know those days when something bad happen and it does not have to be something awful but maybe you miss a train or your friend cancels on you again! Well, sometimes or actually very often bad things can lead to good things. Imagine you miss a train but then you let your boss know and you get a pass to work from home. Well, not so bad after all, is it?
Well, why am I even mentioning this? The story is that my husband broke his ankle last week at football. It is not the end of the world but he has to work so this morning he went to catch a train in the rain with bag over the shoulder and walking slowly with his crutches. Hard I know. Then I got a message which I did not want…you will have to drive and pick me up at the station tonight and you will be dropping me off in the morning..!! Oh no!!
The reason why I mentioned is that I have been putting off driving on the left side for years. I used to be a decent driver but not here!!! To be fair it was one of my resolutions for this year to start to drive here but I am so terrified I swear. I genuinely believe that this is the moment. The moment when I have no excuse and just have to deal with it. It is that bad situation that will lead into something good! I will finally start to drive.
And I just did!! I did my short drive with my left leg shaking like mad but I am so proud of myself! LOL
Znate to, kdyz se stane neco spatneho a nemusi to byt neco katastrofalniho…ale treba vam ujede vlak pred nosem, nebo kamaradka zrusi veceri! Uz po treti!! Ne vzdy ale spatne veci vedou k dalsim spatnym vecem, naopak! Casto mohou spatne veci vest k tem dobrym a je to jedina mozna cesta, jak vas donutit neco udelat nebo se dostat na spravnou cestu. Kdyz vam ujede vlak a zavolate do prace, ze se tak stalo, treba vam zrovna sef rekne, ze mate pracovat z domu. Ta spatna vec, ktera se udala v sedm rano, ma ihned lepsi vyhlidky.
No a proc o tom pisu? Muj manzel si na fotbale minuly tyden zlomil kotnik. No co vam budu povidat. Neni to konec sveta, ale take zadne terno. A protoze v Britanii je system tak jak je, tak se uz v pondeli vydal do prace, v rani spicce, v desti, o berlich s taskou pres rameno, nadopovany ibuprofenem a poslal mi zpravu. Budes pro me muset prijet autem vecer na vlakovou zastavku, jinak to nedam. A budes me tam muset rano vozit. Cozeeee?
A proc to zminuju v dnesnim clanku? No protoze se uz roky odhodlavam, ze zacnu v Britanii ridit, ale mam z te druhe strany zkratka respekt a navic jsem vysla hodne ze cviku. Prakticky ridim akorat jednou za rok a to na Morave po okoli a to neni tak narocne. No co vam budu povidat, od rana na to myslim, ale vim, ze prave tato situace me konecne donuti a posune dal.
Zkratka citim, ze tato “spatna” situace je prave ta, ktera me konecne donuti, se k tomu odhodlat. Bylo to totiz moje letosni predsevzeti, ze tady konecne zacnu ridit.
A prave jsem se vratila z prvni mini jizdy. Noha se mi na spojce kmitala jako blazen, ale zvladla jsem to a jsem na sebe pysna! LOL
Law of attraction has been all over social media. I am amazed by how many influencers have been talking about it, using it to achieve their goals and changing their lives to the best possible way of life. So many people are still very sceptical about if that works, what it is and some even laugh. Well, we all chose what we want so nobody is forcing others to believe it or live by it.
I discovered law of attraction 11 years ago. I know shocking. It was at the time when I had my first professional job in London and started to read the Secret. I wish I got other books in hand right after it. Secret is only that first introduction to this spiritual world and you need to educate yourself so much more. As not everybody can read just this and then nail it. The key to everything is your subconscious mind and your ego not so much and that could be a hurdle for lot of people.
Anyway, if you are at the very beginning of learning how it works and you want to start using the law of attraction I would recommend to start these three books. They are easy to read, will motivate you and will get you excited. They will start your journey and help you to understand this new positive way of life.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne – This book is almost a dummy guide to it all. It is the beginning of everything and will help you with the introduction. You will be motivated to find out more, you will be motivated to change. However, not all knowledge can be written in one book so you need to follow up and educate yourself more. You need more detail and you need to know how to actually change a way of thinking. This is definitely a great book to start with.
The Power by Rhonda Byrne – I started to understand more when I read The Power. It has got more guidance on how to change your way of thinking. How to attract money, health. It has more tips on how to deal with negative thoughts and this is the start of your journey. You know about the law of attraction from the Secret and now it is time to start to introduce it to your life. If I am having a bad period in my life or I feel I went off my path I grab this book and read it again. I find it more motivating than Secret and it explains things into more detail.
You are a Badass by Jen Sincero – This is one of my favourite self-help books I have read. It is written in a fun way, more modern, more current and it gives lot of tips. This is also a book which shows how much your subconscious mind works and how it is a key to everything. This book motivates me so much and I know I will read it again and again. At the back of the book the author also gives tips on other great books and most of them I loved reading too. This book is almost like a more modern version of the Secret with more detail and that is what you need to understand it more in depth.
These three books are a great intro to the whole Law of attraction way of living. There are so many other good books but if you read these three you are then ready take things to the next level. You are about to discover the most wonderful new world.
Zakon pritazlivosti je vsude kolem nas a v posledni dobou se s nim roztrhl velky pytel. Socialni media, blogeri a vsichni kolem v poslednich par mesicich rozjeli obrovskou kampan na to jak zlepsit svuj zivot, jak dosahnout svych cilu, jak se uzdravit apod. Nekdo je porad skepticky, nekdo se tomu dokonce i smeje, ale kazdy jsme na sve ceste v jine pozici, v jinem bodu a ti co neveri, nejsou jeste pripraveni se na tuto cestu vydat.
Ja jsem objevila Zakon pritazlivosti pred jedenacti lety, az se mi nechce verit, ze uz tak dlouho. Mela jsem svoji prvni profesionalni praci, byla ekonomicka krize a dostala se mi do rukou kniha Tajemstvi. Dnes si rikam, ze kdybych tenkrat vedela, ze potrebuju hned dalsi a dalsi knihy, abych vse pochopila do detailu, vse bude zase jinak. Ale vse je tak jak ma byt v ten spravny cas.
Tajemstvi je super, je to takovy prvni pruvodce a diky tomu vstoupite do spiritualniho sveta a zjistite, ze si vlastne tvorime svuj zivot svyma myslenkama. Jenomze vetsine lidi nestaci si precist jednu knihu, protoze hodne je to o nasem podvedomi a to je ten kamen urazu, kde vetsina ztroskota. A to prestoze jsem knihu cetla, jsem tenkrat nevedela. A tak jsem si rekla, ze jestli jste uplny novacek v zakonu pritazlivosti, ze vam poradim, ktere tri knihy si precist hned na zacatku, aby vam zacalo ono puzzle zapadat krasne do sebe. Tyto knihy vam pomohou objevit novy svet, lepsi svet a zjistite, ze vase myslenky tvori vas zivot. Takovych knih je na trhu opravdu spousta a muzu rict, ze treba posledni rok jsem na beletrii ani nesahla. Jedine co jsem kupovala byly takoveto knihy, protoze me bavi poznavat a ucit se o tom vice a vice. Tyto tri knihy vam pomohou zacit a dokonce si troufam tvrdit, ze je dobre je precist si je v tomto poradi.
Tajemstvi – Rhonda Byrne – Je to takovy uvod a pocatecni pruvodce. Tato kniha vam predstavi novy svet a vysvetli v zakladech jak zakon pritazlivosti funguje. Myslim, ze tato kniha vas nadchne, namotivuje a bude chtit vedet vice. Je to skvely zpusob jak zacit. Nekterym prijde pritazena za vlasy, ale to je protoze neni az tak detailni. Tajemstvi vam vse predstavi a ukaze vam novy zpusob ziti. Zjistite, ze si vlastne ridime svuj zivot, ale uz neni tak detailni v tom jak vlastne na to. Jak pracovat se svyma myslenka. Jak si veci pritahnout a nebo naopak jak se spatnym vecem vyhnout.
Moc – Rhonda Byrne – Tuto knihu miluju a doted kdyz mam spatne obdobi po ni sahnu a procitam si oblibene kapitoly. Kniha Moc mi dala vice detailu, vice informaci o tom jak pracovat se svyma myslenkama. Je to takova kniha, ktera krasne navazuje na Tajemstvi a dava vice prikladu jak na to. Jak se poprat s negativnim dnem, jak zahnat spatne myslenky apod. Tato kniha je mi urcite blizsi nez Tajemstvi, dokaze me vice motivovat a pripomenout mi, ze si vlastne ridim vse sama.
Jsi Borec – Jen Sincero – Tohle je jedna z mych nejoblibenejsich knih a vim, ze ji budu cist urcite nekolikrat. Je to takovy moderni pruvodce Zakonem pritazlivosti, da vam vice detailu nez predchozi zminene, nakopne vas, nabudi a budete chtit byt lepsim clovekem. Budete se chtit zmenit a zacit na sobe pracovat. Je to kniha, ktera se skvele cte a prestoze je spiritualni, tak tak nepusobi. Clovek se u ni nenudi a kniha dava konkretni tipy jak na urcite veci. Urcite si ji doporucuji si ji precist hned po Tajemstvi a Moci, protoze tato kniha uzavre takovy ten prvotni krok k vasemu novemu zivotu.
Tyto tri knihy jsou skvelym zacatkem pro ty, kteri chteji vedet vice. Pokud vas tohle chytne, myslim, ze po precteni jste pripraveni na dalsi, mozna slozitejsi knihy a jste pripraveni na novou cestu. Obcas je to o tom, co se vam dostane pod ruky a co vam Vesmir prinese do cesty, ale ja sama citim u nekterych slozitejsich knih, ze na ne nejsem jeste pripravena. Nektere jsem musela prestat cist, protoze mi v ten moment tolik nedavaly. Tyto tri knihy jsou jednoduche na cteni a mozna, kdyby clovek zacal cist hned neco slozitejsiho, tak knihu zavre a tim si zavre i cestu k tomuto zpusobu ziti. Mozna by si rekl…blbost. Je dobre zacit s necim co se dobre cte a je takove odlehcenejsi.
Growing up I remember stories about models and about how they are trying to harm each other and put nails in other girls shoes? And I thought is that really true? Are they so blinded with competition they would hurt others in such pathetic way? I have never been a high fashion constantly booked out model but I have done commercial work, was going round castings in London too and the truth is I never came across anything like that. Lot of my friends are still in modelling industry and although you hear some stories you also see friendships…I am talking strong friendships for life. These girls support each other, they are now married and some sadly divorced and some with children and they help each other in tough times but still share the happy moments in their life. They are true friends and that is not on the merit of number of likes, type of jobs they were working but based purely on their qualities, what they love and how they are.
In lot of ways I always compare modelling to blogging. There are so many similarities I can think of but is it similar with friendships? I personally love hanging out with other bloggers, I love to chat about what we have in common and that is fashion and beauty. I have met some amazing people thanks to what I do and I am grateful for that. Do I have friends in blogging? Yes. However from some strange reason some friendships in this industry come and go which also can be natural in life too. I believe people come to your life for a specific reason. You are meant to teach them something or they teach you something. Some friends can come for short periods and some stay your friend for years. I simply believe once the lesson is over the friendship can naturally goes away. And there is nothing wrong with that it is a natural way of life and karma.
I heard some awful stories about friendships in blogging however I want to stick to stay positive so do not want to go to detail about it. I tell you where I stand and how I see it. I believe blogging is like any other industry yes you can have friends but you also remain to be professional, you network and you build up your network further. It is natural, there is always part of business in this. If you name any industry whether that is film, fashion, law, advisory, venture capital etc. people know their “competitors” they can have business meetings, they meet at networking events as they know they can all benefit from each other in many ways even if it is only expanding on their market knowledge. They are able to talk about latest trends in their field, they are able to have a small talk and get on. And that is important.
So I believe there are some friendships but also lot of business “transactions” going on in blogging. And that is also fine as you simply would have tons of friends and friendship needs a bit of love and maintenance. You have to invest in real friendships and treasure it and you simply could not do it with everybody. There are apparently 505 million blogs based on figures from 2018 so that clearly shows you cannot maintain so many good quality friendships. We all can remain professional though and keep this industry going in the right direction so there are no ugly “friendship” stories, there are no users, no victims and hate. If anybody wants to see this more as a business that is OK too but we can still support each other.
Kdyz jsem vyrustala, hrozne jsem obdivovala modelky a uz v nejakych deseti jsem si strasne prala take byt ta kraska, ktera brazdi mola. Neptejte se proc, nejak vnitrne to tam zkratka bylo. Na druhou stranu me uz v brzke puberte sokovaly pribehy o zasti modelek a o tom jak si navzajem nechavaji hrebiky v botach. Je to ale vubec pravda? Dnes premyslim, zda by nekdo byl tak ubohy, aby ublizil jenom kvuli tomu, ze citi konkurenci. Ja jsem nikdy nebyla zadna top modelka, spise komercni prace bokem a obrazeni nejednoho castingu v Praze a v Londyne, ale uprimne jsem se osobne s nicim takovym nesetkala. Spousta mych kamaradek stale pracuji jako modelky a muzu rict, ze maji mezi sebou pratelstvi tak silna, ze by mohl kdekdo zavidet. Pratelstvi, ktere zaruci, ze vas ten druhy podrzi v tezke situaci, ale take se spolu zasmejte tak, ze se valite po zemi. A nejsou to pratelstvi zalozena na poctu lajku nebo na tom, kdo pracoval pro jakou znacku. Jsou to pratelstvi zalozena na sympatiich a charakteru cloveka.
V hodne aspektech mi blogovani pripomina modeling a vidim spousty podobnosti. Ale jak je to v blogovani se skutecnym pratelstvim? Ja osobne se rada vidam s blogerkama, protoze mame hodne spolecneho, vasen pro modu a kosmetiku a tak je casto o cem si povidat. Mam pratele v oboru? Ano mam….ale nejak mam pocit, ze pratelstvi mezi blogery prichazi a casto i odchazi. Nevim proc, ale byla jsem svedkem pratelskych vztahu, kdy bez sebe kamaradky nemohly byt pomalu ani vterinu az se neco stalo a ted se treba ani nepozdravi. Jak je to mozne? Ja osobne verim v tom, ze lidi prichazi do naseho zivota z nejakeho duvodu, bud se mame neco naucit od nich, nebo mi mame naucit neco je. A kdyz je lekce u konce, muze zkoncit i pratelstvi. A neni treba se za to nejak trestat, je to prirozeny kolobeh zivota a karmy.
Za tu dobu co bloguju, jsem slysela silene pribehy o druhych blogerkach, ale vzdy rikam, ze chci tento blog vest pozitivnim smerem a tak nebudu zachazet do detailu. Spis chci rict muj nazor. Ja verim, ze blogovani je jako kazdy jiny obor. Ano muzete najit pratele, ale hlavni je dulezite zustat profesional, udrzovat networking a take si budovat kontakty. Je to prirozene a i blogovani je business. Kdyz se zamyslite jak to maji jine obory, je to stejne..co treba film, prava, moda, poradenstvi, venture capital…vsichni profesionalove z oboru znaji alespon par lidi od konkurence, schazi se a ziskavaji neco jeden od druheho, i kdyby to byla treba jen znalost trhu. Kazdy vi, ze tyto znamosti vam vzdy mohou neco prinest.
A opravdu verim, ze nejaka skutecna pratelstvi existuji, ale neni jich tolik jak je nam predhazovano na socialnich mediich. V blogovani je hodne takovych “business transakci” a to je take v poradku. Je to normalni vec ve vsech oborech. Nejde byt opravdovy kamarad se vsema ( i kdyz nam to nekteri na socialnich mediich takto maluji). Opravdove pratelstvi neco stoji a je treba dost casu a spoustu lasky. Podle udaju z roku 2018 je na svete 505 milionu blogu a tak uz chapete, ze je nemozne byt kamarad se vsema. Co je ale dulezite je vest svet blogovanim spravnym smerem, zachovat profesionalitu, podporovat se, at uz se nikdo z nas nemusi dozvidat o vice “osklivych” blogerskych pratelstvich.
How is it almost end of October? I am juggling solicitors (for sale and purchase of property), my little boy, myself, life in general and my work. Well quite a lot of going on but when it is not with me?
I am currently pinning on my home decor page like mad and looking for inspiration so if there are amazing brands I should know about let me know. It amazes me how many great house decor accounts you find that way on Instagram. It is my new thing as there is never enough inspiration right?
The tricky part is that you never know when purchasing property so I am trying not to buy anything for the house yet. And everywhere is so much tempting stuff including Christmas decorations and amazing cosy blankets. Oh man.

Je mozne ze uz je konec rijna? Mezi neustalym resenim prodeje bytu a nakupu nove nemovitosti, praci, Liamkem a vubec zivotem jako takovym se clovek nestaci ani nadechnout. Ale u me to neni vetsinou jinak.
Ve volnych chvilich se bavim vyhledavanim inspirace na pinterestu a nejvice me bavi samozrejme dekorativni veci do domu. Je neskutecne, ze jsem objevila diky tomu na Instagramu novych svet a zacala sledovat ucty, co postuji pro inspiraci sve domy, jak je vylepsuji a vybavuji. Je to fakt zabava.
Na druhou stranu na me vsude couhaji super veci jako treba vyzdoba k Vanocum a nechci nic kupovat do te doby, nez nebude vse vyresene, protoze stehovat vic a vic veci nema smysl.
