Nebo je mozne nezavirejte a pokracujte ve cteni, protoze ja takovy den za vas vyzkousela a bylo to uzasne. 

My Saturday started in the early afternoon in the charming Connaught Village only few steps away from Marble Arch station. I have visited this place before for a dinner in a local steak house Casa Malevo which is mind blowing by the way but this is a first time when I saw the village in a day light and it is simply cute. There are so many charming corners, boutiques, cafes and it has got lot to offer.

The first place on our agenda was a specialist wine shop called Connaught Cellars and it may have been my favourite place that day. I love good wine and growing up in a family that has got vineyards and produces wine I love to learn more things and experiment. We spent an amazing hour wine tasting and learning more about red wines, eating amazing cheese from Buchanans Cheesmonger that is only across the road. This place also provides private tasting in their gorgeous downstairs room and you can get some outstanding Italian and French wines. And you will also meet the cutest dog ever that is the star of the shop for sure.

Moje sobota zacala v Connaught village, ktera je par kroku od stanice Marble Arch. Byla jsem tam uz driv ve skvele steakove restauraci Casa Malevo, ale to bylo vecer, tak jsem tenkrat nestihla postrehnout jak malebne misto to vlastne je. 

Nase prvni zastavka byla ve specializovanem obchode na vino Connaught Cellars, ktera nabizi hlavne italska a francouzska vina. Je to misto s uzasnym charakterem, roztomilym pejskem, ktery je da se rict maskotem obchodu a muzete si tady taky vyzkouset privatni kosty vina v krasne mistnosti v prizemnich prostorach. Ja jsem si to opravdu uzila, naucila se vice o vine. Vino mam jak vite rada, pochazim z Moravy z vinarske rodiny a tak jsem si pomalu a jiste nasla k dobremu vinu cestu. A kdyz se k tomu pripoji jeste dobry syr jako treba ten, co jsem ochutnala ze specializovaneho obchodu Buchanans Cheesmonger, tak je to jeste lepsi. 

A bit merry with big smiles after all the great red wine we headed to Bombay Palace for late lunch. I am a big fan of Indian cuisine and this was such a treat on a rainy Saturday. All that wine got me hungry and there is no better cure than a good curry. My friend Margita is a vegetarian so went for veggie option. Bombay palace offers lot of options so definitely worth a try. I went for a curry I have never tried and loved it. We had a lovely chat over a good food and simply enjoyed our time in the restaurant as it should be.

Ovinene a s velkym usmevem jsme se vydaly na pozdni obed do indicke restaurace Bombay Palace. Ja mam indickou kuchyni velmi rada a ve studeny uprseny den je to skvela volba. A navic po tom vine jsem byla opravdu hladna a curry je v takovy moment perfektni vyber. Moje kamaradka Margita je vegetarianka a nastesti v menu byl pro vegetariany velky vyber. Ja si vybrala jidlo, ktere jsem predtim nikdy nezkousela a bylo to skutecne vynikajici. Uzila jsem pokec nad dobrym jidlem tak jak to ma byt. 

When our tummies were full we headed to do a bit of shopping and I fell in love with a multi-branded designer store The Place London. This shop is full of great stuff, stocking up less known designers as well as well known brands like Launer, great pieces from Charlotte Simone and other great pieces. Most items you find here come with a great story that are very inspiring. If you are into handmade items, unique pieces and want to be different you have to come here and you will not regret.

Po velkem obede jsme se vydaly na mensi prohlidku obchudku a ja se ihned zamilovala do butiku The Place London. Nabizi presne to co padne vhod lidem, kteri maji radi jine veci, mlade a mene zname navrhare, rucne delane veci a zkratka unikatni a kvalitni modu. Ale i tak najdete i znamejsi znacky jako napriklad kabelky Launer ci doplnky od Charlotte Simone. Ja takove obchudky mam opravdu rada, clovek nikdy nevi, jaky poklad objevi. 

And it would not be an ultimate girly day without stopping at a hairdresser for a blow dry. Our next destination was a hair and beauty salon Fe Hair & Beauty. I find blow dry to be such a treat for any woman. You save so much stress at home doing it yourself and you leave the salon with bouncy hair. The salon has got cool design and is just steps away from all the place we have visited so far which is ideal. That is a beauty of Connaught village in general. Everything is so close and at the same time it is full of interesting independent businesses.

A to by snad ani nebyl ani pravy holcici den bez navstevy kadernika ze? Nase dalsi zastavka byla v salonu Fe Hair & Beauty. Ja osobne miluju si jit nechat jenom tak vyfoukat vlasy, clovek usetri praci a stres doma a nekdo se o vas zkratka postara. Salon je opravdu kousicek od ostatnich mist a v tomto je Connaught village idealni. Je plna nezavislych restauraci a obchudku, ktere jsou blizko sebe a navic pusobi hrozne malebne. 

And what would be a great bouncy blow dry without glowing skin? So naturally the next stop was Medicetics flagship spa salon located right on Connaught Street. I was booked for their specialist Laser Genesis treatment that gives you that fresh look and glowing skin. The treatment takes around 30 minutes and immediately delivers results and boosts your collagen. I left with glowing skin and did not even have to apply makeup that the therapist took off before the treatment. The salon staff was very professional welcoming and it is such a good idea to include it in a girly day with your mum or friend.

A kdyz uz ma clovek udelane vlasy, je treba doprat i vasi pleti. A tak ma predposledni zastavka byla v salonu Medicetics, kde jsem vyzkousela specialni osetreni lasereme Genesis, ktere podpori produkci kolagenu a doda vam ihned rozzareni pleti. Osetreni trvalo asi 30 minut a bylo dokonce prijemne. Nektere lasery jsou kazdopadne mene prijemne, ale tady jsem si dokonce hezky odpocinula. Ja vzdy rikam, ze zaradit nejakou masaz ci osetreni pleti do typickeho holciciho dne s mamou ci kamaradkou, je naprosto idealni. 

Our day finished in style in perhaps one of the most instagrammable coffee shop in London Saint Aymes. It is a bloggers dream thanks to it’s design and it is a great place for somebody with sweet tooth. Their chocolates and cakes are decorated with 23 carat edible gold and I even found it in my blue unicorn latte. Yes you are reading it correctly.

It is such a luxurious spot that was set up by two sisters that put so much effort into every single detail. And the service was absolutely outstanding. I love discovering places like this and kind of have a feeling this is going to be another Instagram hit.

It was such a great place to finish our perfect day in Connaught village and I can just say this would be an incredible treat for your mum on upcoming Mother’s day. Or perhaps any other day.

A nas den koncil tresnickou na dortu a to navstevnou nadherne kavarny Saint Aymes, ktera je snem snad kazdeho blogera. Ja ji do teto doby neznala, ale jenom vyckavam jak se brzy stane jednou z nejnavstevovanejsich kavaren v Londyne a blogeri budou fotit a fotit a fotit. Kazdopadne ja si dala jejich unicorn latte a jak jinak nez zlatem sypane. 23ti karatove zlato najdete na vsech jejich produktech, dortech, cokoladach a dokonce i v kave :). 

Opravdu to byl uzasny konec jeste uzasnejsiho dne a kazdemu mohu Connaught village jenom doporucit.
