My Birthday dinner – Iberica

For those who follow me on facebook and instagram this is not any news – Yes it was my birthday on Saturday. And my friends and family made it very special. I feel so happy to be surrounded by so many fantastic people. I had big birthday drinks with friend on Saturday but as two of my friends could not make it we did a big pre-birthday dinner in fantastic Iberica restaurant. And I am telling you it was fantastic.
The staff clearly knows how to treat a birthday girl. The food was to die for and as a big fan of spanish tapas I can state it was the best Spanish Tapas I have had in London. My favourite dish was definitely those chorizo Lollipops.

You should put this place on your list of top restaurants. I swear.

Pro ty co me sleduji na facebooku a instagramu neni zadna novinka, ze jsem mela v sobotu narozneniny. Jsem stasna, ze mam kolem sebe skvele pratele a rodinu, kteri me na narozeniny rozmazlovali jako princeznu. V sobotu jsem mela vetsi party v jednom koktejl baru, ale protoze spousta lidi nemohla prijit, tak me dve kamaradky vzaly na super veceri do spanelske restaurace Iberica. O te jsem slysela dosud samou chvalu a musim rict, ze je vyborna. Jako milovnice tapas muzu prohlasit, ze je to nejlepsi tapas v celem Londyne. Servis byl fantasticky a dostala jsem dokonce sangrii na ucet podniku, takze stezovat si nemuzu v zadnem pripade.

Pokud mate cestu do Londyna nebo tu bydlite, tak si tohle misto napiste na seznam dobrych restauraci.

Tip of the week …. Bishopsgate Kitchen

Last Weekend I went for a brunch in East London to a place called Bishopsgate Kitchen. The location is perfect so if you are ever around Spitalfields market and you fancy Full English breakfast or pancakes you should try this place. I picked this place randomly by googling “good place for brunch” in East London and I also saw this place few times when I was passing by.
I loved the decoration and the light coming in and it definitely had very buzzing atmosphere however I cannot say that my eggs benedict were the best I have ever had. However, I love to keep things on a positive note so the overall experience was quite good. It will probably always be one of those safe places to go.

Minuly vikend jsem sla na brunch do vychodniho Londyna do restaurance Bishopsgate Kitchen. Priznavam se, ze jsem misto vybrala, protoze jinde bylo zarezervovano a proste jsem vygooglila “dobre mista na brunch ve vychodnim Londyne”. Parkrat jsem kolem teto restaurace v minulosti sla a chtela jsem ji uz drive vyzkouset.

Urcite jsem byla nadsena z decoru a atmosfera byla taky super, ale priznavam se, ze vajicka benedict jsem teda mela o hodne lepsi. Ale jelikoz rada koncim pozitivne, tak jako celkovy zazitek to bylo docela dobre. Proste jak neni jidlo tip top tak clovek muze dat jenom ctyri hvezdicky, ze?

First BBQ of the season

Yes, we did it. First BBQ of the season and it was fantastic. It may be crazy for some people that as soon as the bar hits 17 degrees we take the barbeque out however you have to enjoy every bit of sun in London.

I would describe Saturday as the perfect afternoon outside. We had the best steak you can get in Notting Hill or te be more precise in London, we had gorgeous sausages and the best part was that gorgeous mouthwatering Haddock. And you cannot have a perfect afternoon without a great bubbles. We went for a tasty Crémant de Limoux ‘Les Graimenous Brut’ 2011 and it complimented the food in the best possible way. Delicious dry vintage wine complimented by strawberries and great food. Oh, life you are sweet! We talked, we laughed and we ate so much that I could not move properly for few hours after that. I totally forgot in that eating maddness I said I was going to be good with food.

Well, life is too short to be on a diet, right?!

A je to za nama. Prvni grilovani sezony a bylo to uzasne, stejne jako kazda barbecue. Mozna si poklepete na celo, ale Londynane proste vyuziji kazdeho slunecniho paprsku a neni nic lepsiho nez sedet na zahrade, popijet dobre vino a jist dobre jidlo.

Sobota byla uzasna. Dali jsme si nejlepsi steak, ktery je k dostani v Notting Hill nebo abych byla presna, mozna i v celem Londyne. Nechybely ani dobre grilovaci klobasy a uplne nejlepsi byla grilovana treska. Popijeli jsme vynikajici Crémant de Limoux ‘Les Graimenous Brut’ 2011 a clovek se citil pomalu jako v nebi. Co vic si prat, ze? Jedla jsem tak, ze jsem ke konci malem praskla a uplne jsem zapomela na to, ze jsem vlastne chtela jist zdrave a lehce. No pokud nepocitam ten dort na zaver ,tak to nebylo az strasne. Kvalitni maso a ryba a hodne zeleniny.

A navic zivot je kratky, tak by se mel uzivat ne?!

Tip of the week … French Cafe

I think I just found my new favourite place when I want to stay locally, French Cafe at Forest Hill Road. So if you live in East Dulwich or Honor oak this is a fabulous place to have your coffee, light lunch or breakfast. Now, they do not have a website and perhaps it is good as the cafe was packed anyway. There were people getting take-away treats and coffee and that tells me I am not the only one that likes this little cute cafe.
I love the deco inside to bits as it is right up my street and that is not the only great thing about this place. As you can see the pastry and all the cakes look amazing. I went for Eggs Benedict and my boyfriend went for Full English breakfast and the food was very good quality. I was also amazed by a quick service and friendly attitude. And did I mention that delicious coffee?

The only thing I missed to have the options of extra like chips or hasbrowns as that is a big part of English Breakfast and some people may prefer it to toast. If that would be an option this would be the best place ever!

If you are around or live nearby definitely go to this place as it will charm you. I am definitely coming again!

Myslim, ze jsem nasla nove oblibene misto, kam budu chodit na brunch, kdyz se mi nechce do centra. Takze pokud bydlite, nebo nekdy budete v okoli East Dulwich nebo Honor oak urcite tohle misto vyzkousejte. French Cafe je mala kavarna, ktera serviruje snidane i lehci obedy a ma naprosto kouzelny interier. Hned po vstupu vas uvita velky vyber sladkeho peciva a dortu a samozrejme si muzete vybrat i z menu napriklad Vajicka Benedict, Anglickou Snidani nebo take Americkou snidani v podobne palacinek se slaninou a javorovym sirupem.

Ja jsem byla hrozne spokojena se servisem a pristupem personalu. A jidlo bylo vytecne. Urcite jedny z tech lepsich vajicek Benedict, co jsem mela.
Navic jsem si vsimla, ze spousty mistnich si proste zasli jenom koupit cerstve pecivo a kavu a vzali si je domu, coz mi rika, ze tohle misto je popularni a nejsem jedina, ktera sem asi bude chodit rada.
Jedina vec, ktera mi trosku chybela je moznost si priobjednat navic hranolky ci hasbrowns k Anglicke snidani. Ne kazdy ma totiz rad jenom toast.
Kazdopadne se uz se tesim, az sem pujdu znovu.
