How to afford luxury for less?

Perhaps you are one of those people that is sometimes wondering how do other people afford luxury and premium high-street clothes? Well, not everybody shops latest collections for full prices. Trust me. People have their own tricks how to snap great and good quality items for much less.

You have several options…firstly you can shop in the sales which is the obvious tip. Secondly you can shop at sample sales which can be tricky unless you become a sample sale pro and you have the patience for it. You can also snap your dream items in pre-loved shops or you can make things easy for yourself and you can shop in outlet stores or online shopping destinations that offer things on constant sale. That is how I got this gorgeous Alexa Chung dress and my new boots. Both come from Brand Alley which is a fantastic shopping destination and you can even get brands like Balenciaga, Stella McCartney or Chloe.

It is a great way how to build up good quality wardrobe and it will not affect your bank balance as much. And we all want that, don’t we?

Mozna se obcas ptate, jak je mozne, ze si nekdo muze dovolit designerske kousky a nebo drazsi retezce? Ne vsichni nakupuji za plnou cenu a nejnovejsi kolekce. Je spousta lidi, kteri maji ruzne triky na to jak si dovolit drazsi kousky. Ja si za plnou cenu kupuju hlavne veci, ktere casto nejdou koupit jinak a nebo taky veci, ktere me chytly za srdce tak, ze nemam vychodisko. LOL

Pri nakupovani vyhodne mate nekolik moznosti. Ta prvni je jasna a to nakupovat ve slevach. Dalsi moznosti jsou sample sales. Na ty je treba trosku praxe a hlavne trpelivost. Dalsi zpusob je urcite nakupovat veci z druhe ruky. Uz i v Cesku se nachazi spousta obchodu, kde se daji poridit nosene designerske kousky. A jednou z moznosti jsou ruzne outlety jako napriklad Brand Alley tady v Britanii. Odtud mam nove saty Alexa Chung a tyhle nove boty. Oboji by dohromady za plnou cenu vysly asi na 500 -600 £, ale tady je najdete za zlomek puvodni ceny. Coz je vzdy dobra zprava.

V dnesni dobe je uz opravdu spousta moznosti a tak i vy si muzete poridit kvalitni kousky za mnohem mene a postupne si obohacovat satnik.

5 Hacks to look slimmer

Some people will always want to look slimmer whilst some are maybe fighting to put on some weight and no matter how hard they try it does not work for them. Anyway, this articles is for those who want some tips to look slimmer instantly. It is not about diets or working out but simply giving you few hacks how to work with your body shape and how to style your clothes. There is a full video here which you can watch and really see how changing certain things can make a difference. It is simple little do’s and dont’s video. So here are some tips I wanted to share with you.

Find out your body shape and dress accordingly – Here is an online calculator where you put in your measurements and it will tell you what body shape you are. Then just look what suits each body shapes and what are dos and dont’s. It will really help you to look leaner and slimmer. And before you get sad if you get shape like pear or apple do not be sad. Just google famous celebrities and will realise how many amazing women with amazing bodies are the same body type. Mine is for example Cameron Diaz or Nicole Kidman. Yay.

Go high-waisted – Remember that high-waisted skirts, trousers, jeans or shorts will help you to keep everything in, make your legs look longer and your love handles will stay in place. As much as I love the 90’s jeans style down at your hips I know they are not very forgiving sadly.

Wear Black – I feel so silly to put this one in as it is so obvious however it does work. Imagine you gained few pounds and you find a dress of your dreams. One is in light colour the other is black. Guess which one will make you look slimmer :) ? Also, overall black outfits are the best and safe choice.

Wear Flares – Flares are coming and going but to be fair they will never be out of fashion. Look at Rachel Zoe she has been wearing them forever. And she knows they look fab. They will give your body right proportions and your legs will look so much longer.

Belt your dresses and blazers and don’t leave your heels at home – If you work with your belts in the right way it can do wonders. So belt that baggy dress or oversized blazer. Not only it will look super chic but also give your body some shape. It works for my body shape and I can’t get enough. Also remember how long your legs looked in those high heels? Well, it is because heels always make you look slimmer. So lets drop the comfort and be glam for a change.

Four 2019 Autumn Trends

We are very close to August and although it may not seem like it Autumn isn’t that far. So for some fashion enthusiasts it may be normal to start to consider some first purchases for autumn. I decided to do a nice selection of what is currently available to purchase amongst luxury and high-street shops and online shops so you can be one step ahead. Here are 4 trends you will see in the shops and on the streets in autumn 2019.

Srpen je pomalu za dvermi a mozna se to tak nezda, ale podzim se blizi za par tydnu. A pro modni nadsene je to bezna vec, ze zacnou uz ted premyslet, co na sebe jak se ochladi. Neni tedy na skodu si osvezit co bylo na videni na prehlidkach a co se bude nosit na podzim 2019. A tak jsem udelala vyber obleceni od luxusnich i cenove dostupnych znacek. Vsechny tyto kousky jsou momentalne k zakoupeni.

1 . Dark Florals – As seen on the catwalk like Balenciaga, Prada and others

Florals have always been around as majority of trends but many designers are bringing lot of autumn florals on darker dresses, blouses etc. We can expect some gorgeous dark tone dresses with variety of floral prints.

1. Kvetinovy potisk – Balenciaga, Prada …

Kvetinovy potisk jako takovy snad ani nevychazi z mody, ale vetsina je ma spojene spise s teplejsim pocasim. Navrhari ale letos prinasi spousty krasnych potisku a to spise na tmavsich podkladech. Je to skvely kousek na podzim a napriklad maxi saty s kozenou bundickou ci sackou jsou klasikou, ktera se nosi velmi dobre.

2. Bright colours and Neon – As seen on catwalks of Jaquemus, Prada, Off-White, Fendi and others

Bright colours are fun. I must admit I am not the most colourful person but over the years I got definitely much better. I personally think it is so refreshing to see bright shades of purple, green, yellow, orange when the temperature drops. As majority of people in the streets just tend to wear neutrals. It just brings a bit of fun to fashion.

2. Vyrazne a neovone barvy – Jaquemus, Prada, Fendi…

Vyrazne barvy jsou nahodou velmi zabavne a to hlavne v dobe, kdy vetsina lidi presedla na neutralni tony jako bezova, cerna a hneda. Letos ale uvidite v kolekcich vyrazne barvy jako fialova, zelena, zluta, oranzova, zelena a jine.

3 . 70’s Bourgeois – Victoria Beckham, Gucci, Chloe, Balenciaga and many many

I have always loved 70’s. If you have followed me for a while you will know and this is one of the favourites trends for me this year. It is chic, love the colours and how much you can layer and play around. Imagine chic pleated skirts with blouses, sweaters and blazers. Loving the boots with midi skirts and it reminds me of Paris and chic style so much. I am really excited to take out my pleated skirts this autumn.

3. Burzoazni sedmdesatky – Victoria Beckham, Gucci, Chloe, Balenciaga a spoustu dalsich

Tohle je jeden z mych oblibenych trendu. Miluju sedmdesata leta obecne, vidim v nich tolik inspirace a fakt, ze tolik svetovych navrharu letos prinasi tento trend klasicke mestske holky ze 70. let mi dela fakt radost. Je to chic, je to elegantni, vidim v tom Pariz, jednoduche neutralni barvicky, kostkovana sacka, plisovane sukne, sem tam nejaky potisk v mensi mire jako leopard, ci satek s potiskem a je to zkratka parada.

4. Disco – even for the day – Chanel, Celine, Dior

I adore this trend. This reminds me the time when I moved to UK years and years ago. I loved how girls wore sequins for the day. You could rarely see this amount of sparkle in Czech. And we are talking sequins for the day. It is so cool to wear it for special occasion but even cooler to pop on bit of glitter with your jeans or white t-shirt. I mean so much sparkle and disco fun on shows like Chanel, Celine, Dior or Gucci. Love it.

4. Kralovna Disko – I pres den – Chanel, Celine, Dior

Trend flitru a vubec cokoli se trpyti je pro me. Pripomina mi to me zacatky v Londyne. Byla jsem nadsena, kdyz jsem videla holky ve flitrovych vecech jenom tak pres den. Ne zadna specialni udalost ci ples…proste takhle hodit neco flitroveho k dzinum a triku. A presne tohle bylo k videni na prehlidkach jako Chanel, Celine a Dior. Gucci ma ted k prodeji cool flitrovou bundu a jsem si jista, ze neco takoveho bude brzo i v klasickych retezcich.

Outfit: TOP 3 THINGS TO DO IN LONDON FOR FREE

I have lived in London for a very long time and after so many years I sometimes may take things for granted. However, I know there are so many fabulous things you can do in London for free. And last week when I was being tourist in my own city it kind of reminded me that London has so much to offer. And there are great things you can do for free and it will cost you perhaps only a tube fare. My recent visit to Natural History museum inspired me to actually list three things I like to do in London for free. Of course there are more but I may be doing even a full video about this on my channel.

Stroll via Southbank from Tower Hill – Southbank is always fun and it is such a nice walk with so much to see. Firstly there is no limit how far you go or where you start. I personally love to get off at London bridge, walk through Borough market, stop at the different street artists and pay a quick visit to Tate Modern. You can walk all the way to London Eye, take great pictures for your Instagram, soak in the atmosphere, admire the street artist and check out modern art in Tate museum. So much to do and it is all free!
Natural History Museum and Luxury window shopping – I love Natural History museum and I must say I have been few times with Liam as it is great for kids. The building itself is so stunning and the entry is free (optional contribution to charity). There is so much to see and to learn, it is great for adults and children and because it is in such a nice area of South Kensington you can go and check out some luxury shops for inspiration. You can walk to Harrods and Harvey Nichols, you can check out shops and boutiques in South Kensington and just enjoy the vibes of West London.
Saatchi Gallery and Stroll around Chelsea – Saatchi gallery is one of my favourites in London. Yes some of the really good exhibitions you have to pay for but they still offer a lot for free. I love where it is situated and I love the atmosphere of the area. If you want relaxed afternoon I highly recommend it and then perhaps explore the Chelsea shops and gorgeous street with crispy white houses.

V Londyne ziju uz opravdu dlouho a obcas si uvedomim, ze nektere veci beru uz jako samozrejmost a Londyn si neuzivam se vsim vsudy. Ale je dulezite se zastavit a uvedomit si, jake mam stesti, ze tady bydlim. Toto multikulturni mesto toho tolik nabizi a dokonce vas hodne z tohoto nebude ani nic stat. A ted kdyz tady mam pres leto rodinu, tak s nima prochazim Londyn a pripadam si jako turista. A nedavna navsteva Natural history museum mi pripomela, ze se tady toho da dost delat a nebude vas to stat vice nez listek na metro. Je to samozrejme vice nez tyto tri veci, ale premyslim, ze o tom natocim cele video na svuj youtube kanal.

Prochazka po Southbank – Prochazka podel reky Temze je jedna z mych oblibenych aktivit tady v Londyne. Zacinam vetsinou bud u Tower Bridge nebo London bridge a zalezi na tom kolik mam casu. Ale muzete se projit klidne az k Londynskemu oku. Po ceste narazite na spousty poulicnich umelcu, coz mam moc rada a muzete se take zastavit v Tate Modern, kde pokazde narazite na nejakou vystavu zdarma. Je to idealni kombinace umeni a prijemne atmosfery u reky.
Natural History Museum a prohlidka Luxusnich nakupnich domu – Natural History Museum mam osobne moc rada, vstup je zdarma (dobrovolny dar na charitu je mozny hned u dveri) a je tam opravdu hodne zajimavych veci k videni. Tato navsteva je poucna, zabavna pro deti a vy si ji take urcite uzijete. Navic v okoli South Kensington je spousta krasnych luxusnich butiku, muzete se pak projit po okoli ci navstivit nedaleky Harrods a Harvey Nichols. Nemusite si nic kupovat, ale muzete nacerpat inspiraci a pokochat se.
Saatchi Gallery a prochazka po Chelsea – Saatchi galerie je jedna z mych nejoblibenejsich v Londyne. Ano je sice proflakla, ale libi se mi prostredi a atmosfera. I kdyz nektere lepsi vystavy maji poplatek, vzdy je moznost nejake vystavy, kde se nemusi platit. Po galerii si muzete jit projit Chelsea, nasat atmosferu, projit si krasne a uhledne ulice plne velkych bilych domu, ktere jsou typicke pro zapadni Londyn.
