How to love your cellulite? The truth about my body..

I am sitting on my sofa and still wearing my pyjamas and thinking how to name this article. The truth is after seeing the swimsuit pictures from my holidays I saw the reality of my body and I know the best way is to accept it and love it with my full heart.

This can be difficult sometimes as we are surrounded by the best images of others on social media, you may also have friends with great genetics, resources, time or that are younger and they are fitter than you from different reasons. My best friend though always tells me that we definitely look better than 95 % of people on this planet and she may be right. Other people may be dreaming about your body or state of your skin, level of cellulite and size. And some maybe even wishing to have fully functional and healthy body if you see where I am coming from.

Originally, I wanted this to be about my journey during lockdown when I pushed myself and did a full course of insanity workout and diet and pretty much everyday did dry body brushing with oil massage after. I wanted to test myself for sure if it all actually works. I lost weight but I am not where I thought I would be…having said that I look better. I am just thinking imagine how much models or stars have to work out if even after all this hard work I am not super tight and smooth?

I have serious respect for everybody that can transform their body to J Lo or supermodel level as it must be bloody hard work. Back to my questions does dry body brushing work? Not for me sadly….I have been inspecting this closely and did lot of reading about this and found an interesting article that said you would need to brush yourself very tough (almost bleeding they stated) in order to awake your lymphatic system like that so maybe there is a truth to this. What I have tried second time and I can swear on it is Insanity workout. It does help cellulite a lot. I still have huge amount of it but it was much worse. And if you are trying to first lose weight I can say The fine diet, Keto diet both work effectively. I am amazed myself.

I would say my last comment is to stay on track. If you want to feel and look good and you have had success just keep trying out new things. The more I am looking into it I need to start to introduce weight training to my routine to tone the lose skin and sculpt your muscles.

However, no matter what you have to start to love your body as it all begins with that. You could lose 10 Kgs or have a boob job but if you do not love yourself it will not change much. That is something we need to take in account.

Sedim na pohovce a jsem jeste rozcuchana a v pyzamu a premyslela jsem delsi dobu jak nazvat tento clanek. Po tom co jsem prosla fotografie v plavkach z nasi dovolene jsem videla realitu sveho tela. A uvedomila jsem si, ze proste sve telo je nejlepsi milovat tak jak je. Milovat se bezpodminecne a prijmout vsechny nedostatky jako celulitida.

To muze byt obcas tezke a to hlavne v dnesni dobe, kdy na nas vyskakuji dokolane fotografie ze socialnich medii a vetsina lidi ukazuje tu nejlepsi cast sebe. Nebo take mozna jako ja mate kamaradky, ktere maji zkratka lepsi telo. Muze to byt danou genetikou, maji na sebe vice casu, maji vice penez na ruzne procedury ci stavi sve telo a to jak vypada na nejvyssi pricku svych priorit a vzdy na sobe pracuji. At uz je to tak ci tak, je treba si uvedomit, ze mnoho lidi by ted s vama klidne menilo. Mnoho lidi si treba preje plne funkcni a zdrave telo a neco jako povolena kuze je jim u pr….! Jedna moje kamaradka mi vzdy rekne, ze stejne vypadame lepe nez 95 % lidi na teto planete a ma asi pravdu.

Jak mozna vite z mych socialnich medii, tak jsem behem izolace zacala trosku vic makat. Ja jsme se vzdy hybala a starala o sebe, ale opet jsem zacala s treninkem Insanity, ktery zabral jiz drive a nasadila poprve keto dietu. Navic jsem pridala kazdodenni masirovani celulitidy kartacem na sucho a po cviceni a sprse osetrovala kuzi olejem. Puvodne jsem chtela venovat clanek pouze vysledkum, ale nastala takova smrst myslenek, ktere jsem vam chtela sdelit.

Jak to vsechno dopadlo asi vidite a vite z mych predchozich postu. Prvni veci je, ze jsem urcite zhubla, ale nejsem zdaleka tam, kde jsem si to cele predstavovala. A diky tomu me napadlo, ze nekteri lide musi opravdu makat jako blazni. A tem opravdu rikam klobouk dolu. Predstava jak musi makat top modelka ci J Lo je docela masakr. Insanity je velmi intenzivni cviceni a v kombinaci s masazi a dietou by mel byt vysledek mnohem lepsi, ale neni. Presto jsem rada, ze jsem se do vseho pustila. Je mi mnohem lepe, obleceni sedi lepe a diky Insanity se dokonce i zlepsila celulitida. Mam ji az az, ale bylo to mnohem horsi. Take jsem zjistila, ze masirovani kartacem na ni v mem pripade nezabira bohuzel. No a keto dieta je zaruceny a efektivni zpusob jak zatocit s kily navic. Tvarovani postavy je uz dalsi vec a to je neco na cem budu muset asi pracovat.

Procitala jsem spoustu clanku a informaci a jak to tak vypada s pribyvajicim vekem je treba pridat cviceni s cinkou a zavazim, aby se zpevnovala volna kuze a celkove se zpevnilo cele telo. Pilates je take dobra volba pro celkove zpevneni.

Ale stejne je treba zacit s tim, ze sve telo mate radi takove jak je. Nepomuzeme vam ani o deset kilo mene ci nova prsa. Vsechno to zacina u vas v srdci. Na tom si musi zapracovat kazdy z nas.

Some people will always want to look slimmer whilst some are maybe fighting to put on some weight and no matter how hard they try it does not work for them. Anyway, this articles is for those who want some tips to look slimmer instantly. It is not about diets or working out but simply giving you few hacks how to work with your body shape and how to style your clothes. So here are some tips I wanted to share with you.

Then just look what suits each body shapes and what are dos and dont’s. It will really help you to look leaner and slimmer. And before you get sad if you get shape like pear or apple do not be sad. Just google famous celebrities and will realise how many amazing women with amazing bodies are the same body type. Mine is for example Cameron Diaz or Nicole Kidman. Yay.

Go high-waisted – Remember that high-waisted skirts, trousers, jeans or shorts will help you to keep everything in, make your legs look longer and your love handles will stay in place. As much as I love the 90’s jeans style down at your hips I know they are not very forgiving sadly.

Wear Black – I feel so silly to put this one in as it is so obvious however it does work. Imagine you gained few pounds and you find a dress of your dreams. One is in light colour the other is black. Guess which one will make you look slimmer :) ? Also, overall black outfits are the best and safe choice.

Wear Flares – Flares are coming and going but to be fair they will never be out of fashion. Look at Rachel Zoe she has been wearing them forever. And she knows they look fab. They will give your body right proportions and your legs will look so much longer.

Belt your dresses and blazers and don’t leave your heels at home – If you work with your belts in the right way it can do wonders. So belt that baggy dress or oversized blazer. Not only it will look super chic but also give your body some shape. It works for my body shape and I can’t get enough. Also remember how long your legs looked in those high heels? Well, it is because heels always make you look slimmer. So lets drop the comfort and be glam for a change.

5 things you can do for your body and soul this spring

I firmly believe that our soul and body are so well connected that it is a genius mechanism. And that it is why it’s so important to look after both in order to achieve good balance, happy state of mind and feel good.

Spring brings better weather but also lot of people suffer from fatigue, mood swings and our immunity can be weakened. So it is crucial to do the best we can for ourselves. And by that I do not mean just to walk in to Dior and walk out with a new pair of bag (but would be nice cherry on the cake). So here are 5 things I like to do in the spring and that help me.

  1. Meditate in nature – Mediation in general really helps me on a daily basis. 10 minutes can really change how you feel and how you see things. What is also amazing is to meditate in nature and that is just by sitting in a quiet spot and letting your thoughts flow. Just take in what is around you and enjoy that moment.
  2. Take your workout outside – Working out is one of the best things you can do but working outside is another level. It is almost a way of meditation and if you are not that fit even fast walking is good enough, it will help your blood circulation and your mind.
  3. Exfoliate and use sun protection – In spring I am always motivated to look after my body more. I exfoliate a lot so my skin is fresh and bright and I use sun protection. These are the small things that will pay off long term.
  4. Eat your superfood – Spring also offers a lot when it comes to food. We have lot of seasonal food that will benefit you but the intake of superfood is important to support your immune system.
  5. Slow down if you need – Only you know how you feel. You have to do what your body tells you to do. If you feel you need to rest…then do it as you are the one running your life and body and nobody else will do that for you.

Pevne verim, ze nase duse a podvedomi ovlinuje nase telo a  opacne, je to takovy dokonaly mechanismus, ktery nelze osalit. A tak je dulezite se starat o oboji. Casto to, co je dobre pro nase byti je dobre i pro nase telo a obracene. Nejlepsi je, kdyz dosahnete balancu a citite se dobre a hlavne stastni.

S jarem prichazi lepsi pocasi, ale casto take unava, zmeny nalad a s nejvetsi pravdepodobnosti mame i oslabenou imunitu. Kazdy bojuje po svem a prestoze udelat neco pro sebe a pro radost muze byt, ze si do Dioru zajdete pro novu kabelku, je to hodne o kazdodennich malickostech. Je to o tom si najit cas pro sebe, poslouchat signaly naseho tela a neco pro to udelat. Tady je par tipu, ktere na jare pomahaji v mem pripade. 

Meditace v prirode – Meditace jako takova mi hodne pomaha, ale meditovat muzete uz i tim, ze si sednete v prirode na klidne misto a nechate plout sve myslenky, vnimate vse kolem a nacerpavate energii. Je to opravdova ocista pro telo i dusi.

Cviceni venku – Pohyb je vzdy dobra rada, ale co teprve pohyb venku v prirode. Je to vlastne takovy zpusob meditace, ale zaroven si zlepsite kondici. A staci klidne chuze sviznym krokem a telo vam podekuje.

Starost o pokozku a ochrana pred slunickem – S jarem se mi nastartuje chut se o sebe vice starat a tak si rada delam peelingy, at se mi obnovi pokozka a hlavne je treba se chranit pred slunickem. To vse jsou male kroky, ktere se dlouhodobne vyplati.

Jist vyvazene a dodat telu superfood – Unava jde casto ruku v ruce s tim, co jime. A na jare je dobre vyuzit cerstvych bylinek, ktere rostou a dodat telu to nejlepsi. Muzete si vyhledat ruzna superfoods a zvysit jejich prisun. Jaro nabizi tolik moznosti co se jidla tyce, tak toho vyuzijte. 

Zpomalit, kdyz vam telo da signal – Neni dobre se telu vzpirat. Kdyz telo hlasi stop, poslechnete ho. Jenom vy vite jak se citite, druzi za vas neudelaji to ci ono a nasledujici den, jste to vzdy vy, kdo se musi vzchopit. A tak se nepremahejte, pokud nemate silu.

WHY IS IT OK TO HAVE A LAZY DAY?!

I am the type of person that has got huge inner drive to be constantly doing something. I am always on the go, always filling free time with some activity and I find it very difficult to just switch off. I almost feel guilt if my day isn’t productive. I can say I rarely have days when I can say I did nothing. To me doing nothing is really is doing nothing…reading books, watching favourite TV show, having bath, pamper day and so on. However even on those days I always realise I did a lot whether that is work around the house or anything blog related. And I need to constantly find ways to justify why is it ok to have a lazy day and here is why…

  1. Balance is important – Keeping things in balance is important in most areas of our lives. You know it – balance, jing & jang, extremes are not good. So keep balance in between relaxation and work.
  2. Other people do that so can you – Every time I feel guilty again about taking things easy I think about other people and that we all do it sometimes.
  3. Do not force it – Yes sometimes we need to push ourselves for example when going to gym however from my experience if I am tired or not motivated forcing it does not end up well. You do not work as well and the result is not great either.
  4. Tomorrow is another day – If I decide to rest one day I have so much more energy following day that I manage huge amount of work and the quality is great.
  5. Love yourself – Loving yourself means also listening to your body and taking time off.

Jsem typ clovek, ktery ma vnitrni motivaci a nedokazu vetsinu dni zastavit. Musim porad neco delat, jsem rada produktivni a dokonce citim pocit viny, kdyz mam takovy uvolnenejsi a liny den. Nedokazu si pomoci, ale vycitky se casto dostavi. Jsem ten typ, ktery si pise seznam kazde rano s tim, co chci udelat a kdyz nezvladnu vsechno na na seznamu, docela tezce se s tim vyrovnanam. A tak take casto hledam ruzne duvody, abych se presvedcila, ze i takove dny jsou treba a klidne jich muze byt vic po sobe. A prisla jsem na tohle. Priste az si to budu vycitat, tak si prectu tento clanek :) 

  1. Balanc je dulezity – Balanc je dulezity ve vsech oblastech nasich zivotu a tak i balanc mezi odpocinkem a praci! Vyvazenost je tou nejlepsi cestou. Znate to jing a jang, vseho s mirou, rovnovaha….
  2. Delaji to ostatni tak proc ne vy – Tolik lidi v mem okoli ma dny, kdy zkratka vypnou. I prolezeny den u knizky a prochazky v prirode jsou treba.
  3. Neni dobre se nutit silou – obcas je dobre prekonat lenost, ale kdyz vam telo rika stop, musite poslechnout. Rika se, ze kazdy den se ma zit tak jako by byl ten posledni, tak proc se hnat neustale, aby bylo udelano to ci ono. A uz se vam nekdy stalo, ze kdyz se opravdu nutite, tak vysledek neni moc dobry? LOL urcite to znate. 
  4. Zitra je taky den – Moje zkusenost je, ze kdyz si opravdu lenosim, tak dalsi den mam tolik energie, ze stihnu dvojnasobek a ve velke kvalite. 
  5. Sebelaska je dulezita – Sebelaska je dulezita a to znamena, ze budete poslouchat sve telo a date mu vse co je treba a to i den volna.
