Steal Elsa Hosk style on a budget

Elsa Hosk the supermodel IT girl and fashion icon is inspiring for so many of us and even other supermodels. It has been so many times I have seen other top models mentioning her as their source of inspiration or perhaps that she inspired them for some sort of purchase.

Either or Elsa is the cool girl. She is always full of surprises for me, she is not pure clean girl aesthetic and always throws in something unexpected. That is just right up my street. I love people that can surprise in fashion and that is what she does. One day a cute girl with socks and mary janes and next day slouchy casual vibe for a walk in the park. We can see her in full black look, leopard print and then totally unexpected print, texture or colour.

She is like a mix of timeless capsule wardrobe always with added trendy items like oversized glasses or shaggy jacket, touch of colour. She simply makes fashion so fun. However, often she wears expensive designer items which may not be accessible to everybody.

Let’s look at some items we can also buy at high-street to recreate her looks.

Elsa loves a good jacket and even classics like leather pieces or trench coats. There are plenty in the high-street. You can wear them with some affordable but cool trainers or chic heels. Think also high end looking all black looks like we see in the first image. There are many options you can find in the high street. Some key items to add to your capsule wardrobe would be good knitwear pieces, oversized bomber jacket.

Best Cherry Red & Burgundy Items to shop

Cherry red, burgundy, deep brown, oxblood depending on what you describe this tone was dominating towards the end of last year and is clearly not going anywhere. We have seen this trend on the runways as well as on many influencers and celebrities. I feel though that in autumn there was a shortage of pieces in this shade. The shoes were gone in split second and same for the bags. High-street did not have enough options but things are now getting a bit better and we have seen more affordable as well as luxury items.

Gucci brought stunning shoes and bags in this shade, Miu Miu kitten heels are so hard to source and so many designers brought at least one item in this colour. Now a girl can keep dreaming of vintage Hermes in this shade but in the meantime let’s see what is currently out there so we can shop this stunning shade and upgrade our closets.

I really have always had this shade connected to autumn however I love the idea of wearing it even now with spring coming. Some of the coats look also incredible in the winter season and I am sure that autumn 2024 will be still in the name of this incredible tone.

The best wearable Easter nail designs

Easter is only few weeks away and I am pretty sure nail lovers are prepping for their next nail salon visits. Even though it is not my case I love to bring you as always some inspiration and wearable ideas that go hand in hand with spring and Easter theme. So after the white dresses trend article here we are lusting over cute nail designs.

I find Easter quite difficult when it comes to deciding what nails to go for as I am more lover of classic tones like red or earthy tones. However, there are still so many designs to chose from and you can go for subtle nudes like pink or lilac with some cute nail art that is not over the top.

However, for those who wants to go all out there are many designs that features bright colours and themes like chickens, cute bunnies, eggs and really colourful designs. I opted for selection of more muted designs with more delicate designs like cute bunny ears or flowers.

If you do not go to salon and you do your own nails like I do I think the idea of different colours on individual nails is also very cute. You can bring some more brave colours and metallics or you can also keep it quite tonal.

TREND 2024 – THE WHITE DRESS

TREND 2024 - THE WHITE DRESS - Eva McMahon wearing white Diish dress and gold disc belt by Black and Brown

SHOP THIS LOOK:

Whilst London weather is still playing with us and we are obviously still wearing winter looks I am very much looking at the best of this big 2024 trends. White dresses have appeared on runways of many designers.

The big players like Valentino, Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, Prada, Chloe, Dior and so many others had some form of white dress in their collection. The creativity was beyond and we saw ruffles, lace but also simple dresses. Sometimes it can be so easy to incorporate big trends to our daily style. Think shirt dresses, cute summer dresses, girly A line dresses for spring party and so much more.

I will definitely be wearing again this year my favourite DIISH dress you see in the picture as it is so timeless and also incredibly beautiful and chic. There is something about white as for me it symbolises purity and also from some reason sunshine. Yes, not too practical with two children but life is too short to stop wearing what we want just because it may get dirty. This just reminded me Charlotte’s Scene from SATC when she ended up with print of two little hands on her vintage Valentino skirt.

Good news is that white dress is so easy to wear and easy to combine with the rest of your closet. You can simply throw on any other colour or metallics and it will work with white. Investing in a lovely white dress is also wise as it is quite timeless and we can wear it for so many occasions.
