Under 100 £ Home decor trends 2024

Bringing texture to your home is one of the biggest trends in 2024 in Home Decor. And I am so here for it. I love mixing different textures and to be honest I have seen it all over from corduroy arm chairs, boucle or even textured lamps and cushions. Nothing is plain and nothing is boring.

You really can bring texture on so many elements to your home even on walls but that is kind of much more expensive and bigger job. I remember during winter visiting the Max Mara pop up at Covent garden and everything being wrapped in their iconic teddy fabric reminded me of this trend. It was fun and so much sensory pleasure.

However you can bring texture to your dining table setting with lovely napkins and non plain glasses, rough edges plates and perhaps an interesting vase. The final outcome is so worth it when you synchronise all the beautiful textures on the table.

I currently have an eye for me for these lamps for my bedroom but still want to wait as when it comes to home there is no point to rush. However, I love so many items that scream textures so thought I would share some of my favourites that will not cost a fortune.

I simply adore this trend and I am keen to bring more and more of this to my home. Art is one of the easiest way you can do it and so many textured pieces out there that are affordable.

17 BEST DENIM PIECES FOR SPRING

17 BEST DENIM PIECES FOR SPRING - edit of the best denim pieces for spring 2024

17 BEST DENIM PIECES FOR SPRING

I wonder if people knew in the 19th century how big denim will be one day. Levi Strauss started a big revolution and today we cannot imagine life without jeans. Well, clearly jeans are part of most people’s wardrobe but denim isn’t just about jeans.

This year Denim is having huge comeback again in all sort of shapes and forms and we see it even on shoes, bags and so much more. I personally have denim dresses and shirts and some of them have been in my wardrobe for years. My point is that denim will never be out of fashion but as with most trends sometimes a big wave comes in and more people experiment.

We simply love jeans and I will never forget that feeling when I was back in my jeans after giving birth. Even though there are maternity options there is something very rewarding getting back in shape and fitting in your old jeans once you give birth.

My mum keeps raving about denim coats and she simply adores them. I am more into jackets and skirts however I admit there is something cool if you wear the denim coats right.

There are so many cool pieces out there so here is a beautiful mixture of luxury and high-street just for you.

Steal Elsa Hosk style/How to dress like her for less

Steal Elsa Hosk style on a budget

Elsa Hosk the supermodel IT girl and fashion icon is inspiring for so many of us and even other supermodels. It has been so many times I have seen other top models mentioning her as their source of inspiration or perhaps that she inspired them for some sort of purchase.

Either or Elsa is the cool girl. She is always full of surprises for me, she is not pure clean girl aesthetic and always throws in something unexpected. That is just right up my street. I love people that can surprise in fashion and that is what she does. One day a cute girl with socks and mary janes and next day slouchy casual vibe for a walk in the park. We can see her in full black look, leopard print and then totally unexpected print, texture or colour.

She is like a mix of timeless capsule wardrobe always with added trendy items like oversized glasses or shaggy jacket, touch of colour. She simply makes fashion so fun. However, often she wears expensive designer items which may not be accessible to everybody.

Let’s look at some items we can also buy at high-street to recreate her looks.

Elsa loves a good jacket and even classics like leather pieces or trench coats. There are plenty in the high-street. You can wear them with some affordable but cool trainers or chic heels. Think also high end looking all black looks like we see in the first image. There are many options you can find in the high street. Some key items to add to your capsule wardrobe would be good knitwear pieces, oversized bomber jacket.

Best Cherry Red & Burgundy Items to shop

Cherry red, burgundy, deep brown, oxblood depending on what you describe this tone was dominating towards the end of last year and is clearly not going anywhere. We have seen this trend on the runways as well as on many influencers and celebrities. I feel though that in autumn there was a shortage of pieces in this shade. The shoes were gone in split second and same for the bags. High-street did not have enough options but things are now getting a bit better and we have seen more affordable as well as luxury items.

Gucci brought stunning shoes and bags in this shade, Miu Miu kitten heels are so hard to source and so many designers brought at least one item in this colour. Now a girl can keep dreaming of vintage Hermes in this shade but in the meantime let’s see what is currently out there so we can shop this stunning shade and upgrade our closets.

I really have always had this shade connected to autumn however I love the idea of wearing it even now with spring coming. Some of the coats look also incredible in the winter season and I am sure that autumn 2024 will be still in the name of this incredible tone.
