Carbone London – Glamour and Happy Taste buds

Carbone London is high-end Italian restaurant that blends incredible food and glam atmosphere and serves simple yet very tasty dishes. As somebody who tried their New York restaurant which was their first restaurant I was curious if London offers the same. So did London capture the same magic?

No matter where you go prepare yourself to spend money. Carbone does not serve 20 £ pasta but also the overall experience is something like from the Goodfellas. Firstly I would like to say I find quality of the dishes and the service total match. London is as good as New York when it comes to food and top quality service. You get lot of attention from everybody working in the restaurant. The atmosphere is different but that is probably due to size of the venue. New York feels very intimate whilst London is buzzing and feels like a movie set.

I like Carbone for sharing meals as it gives me opportunity to try different dishes and get better experience. Same as in New York you are served basket of fresh bread of different kind, delicious Italian salami and cauliflower. We opted for two starters and we went for yellowtail and scallops. I would score both at least 9 out of 10. The yellowtail was outstanding and such a good start. And I knew from the start I wanted to order their famous vodka pasta so I can compare to their New York restaurant.

TThe atmosphere is stunning—exactly what I look for in a dining experience like this. I love being able to enjoy a great meal in good company, surrounded by soft music, dim lighting, and an effortlessly glamorous ambiance.

Despite the bad reviews I have seen online I would highly recommend. I understand people expect a lot if you pay 80 £ for pasta but for me everything met my expectations. Does it make me somebody that was lucky, has low standards or is simply person that appreciates things? Who knows.
