Claridge’s x DANTE

Food, food, food that has been a recent topic on Glamazonblog.com but Food and Fashion are definitely a passion of mine and these two passions are not leaving anytime soon.

It was one of those rare moments when my husband I get to enjoy a good meal together and this time we had the pleasure to try the lunch menu at Claridge’s restaurant Dante. I have eaten in Claridge’s several times but this was my first time trying out this wonderful collaboration. The decor goes so well with the flow of the hotel and the remaining bars and restaurants as well as the rooms. It has stunning bar and very comfortable seating. I just love this chic setting with marble elements, spot on lighting and leather seats. From start to finish we have received impeccable services which is usually very high in Claridge’s whether you stay here or just come for evening cocktails.

If you ask me to go and try anything that is highly regarded in NYC I will more likely say yes. I adore New York probably even more than London so to get the taste of New York but closer to home is a dream combo for me. I normally do not have such big lunches but when eating out husband and I went big. We opted for starters and we chose the Mare misto and Dante’s signature burrata. Both very tasty and just right up my street. As for the main I really fancied veal Milanese but we also wanted to taste the signature dish of Dante and that is their diavola chicken. And that all finished with cup of coffee. Not the best coffee if you ask me but pretty good quality oat latte if you ask me.

Everything was done in so simple way but very delicious and also you could feel the quality produce in all dishes. You also get complimentary focaccia bread with some olive oil which is always an excellent choice. The restaurant has impressive wine menu as well as some wonderful signature cocktails.

I would go back 100 % but would love to try perhaps breakfast or dinner just to get a full feel of Dantes.
