Jacuzzi Restaurant in London – Review
Some lunches are just meant to happen. Jacuzzi has been on my list to try for a while as I am a huge fan of Big Mamma restaurants. Just give me opulent decor, buzzing atmosphere and food worthy to get up even on a rainy and gloomy day and you can count me in. And it also means I can bring you full on Jacuzzi Review.
II originally booked this lunch for a work meeting, which was cancelled at the last minute. But with another meeting already in the diary, cancelling the reservation felt like a crime against a good lunch. Luckily, one of my best friends was free, so what could have been a workday disappointment turned into a rather fabulous girly catch-up.
Because sometimes, the best business meetings are the ones that never happen — especially when they’re replaced by good food, a gorgeous setting and a few hours of uninterrupted yapping.
As I love their other restaurants I secretly hoped Jacuzzi will match my expectations and I can also bring my personal review to you here. Firstly let me start that I am over the moon that you can book a table as a normal human being. I have not been a long time in Circolo Popolare but the booking system used to drive me mad. Finally a pretty straightforward online booking.
Secondly, the service was absolutely on point. Having worked on reception at a top Mayfair restaurant during my university days, I have a real appreciation for the hard work and attention to detail that go into creating a great dining experience.
From the moment we were greeted to placing our order, everyone was professional, warm and genuinely lovely to deal with. And good service is something I rate very highly. You can have the most beautiful interiors and the most Instagram-worthy dishes, but if the service falls flat, it can spoil the whole experience. Thankfully, that certainly wasn’t the case here.
How About the Food at Jacuzzi?
The menu is generous, varied and has something for everyone, which is always a good start when you’re dining with friends who may have very different appetites.
I knew I wanted something packed with protein, so I went for the classic Chicken Milanese. It was a good size for one — satisfying without being completely ridiculous. You know those restaurants where a single dish arrives looking as though it was intended to feed an entire family? Yes, we’ve all been there! This was much more my kind of portion: enough to leave you feeling satisfied without needing to be rolled out of the restaurant afterwards. And can I just emphasize I did love their green salad. Something so simple yet the flavours of the salad dressing pushed this to another level.
However, to be fully honest I was jealous in the end of my friend’s choice with was La Portofino and of course I had to taste it. At least I know what I will be having next time. Just sea bream, great flavours and light option.
I know many people come to Jacuzzi for the traditional pasta and pizza, and understandably so. But I’m actually glad we ventured beyond the obvious choices. It was a lovely reminder that Italian dining doesn’t have to revolve around a giant bowl of pasta or a pizza the size of your table. There are other delicious options to explore, whether you’re in the mood for something lighter or, like me, trying to make sure you get your protein in. Because yes, you can enjoy a fabulous Italian lunch and still hit your protein goals!
And the bonus with Jacuzzi is that the place is so stunning that dressing up a bit will make this a full on experience. So chic lunch in your chic outfits in Jacuzzi is definitely a good idea.
I will definitely be coming back here and ordering you now what…… 🙂
