If you love fashion, chances are you’ve already heard of DeMellier bags. I’ve been a fan of the brand for years and have written several articles about its different styles. I’ve also covered the brand and its latest launches for both ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar, because these are the kind of bags that tick all the right boxes: wearable, timeless, chic and, in my opinion, worth the investment.
So many women that love beautiful bags are simply not able to buy more expensive designer items and also there has been a trend of people feeling safer wearing a bag that costs 500 £ rather than 5000 £ plus. And honestly whatever the reason is you will not regret buying a Demellier bag.
I love that the brand is not stagnant and always thinks of new designs that are wearable, chic and go with many styles. Whether you like cool girl vibe or you incline to be more corporate girlie you will find something that is worthwhile. We have seen the royals carry certain styles but also cool New York influencers rocking their latest bag to the Manhattan hotspots.
I have a lovely collection however I cannot stop thinking of some of their latest launches. One of my most favourite must be the Brooklyn bag. It is almost an upgraded version of the New York tote. They are very similar but the flap and the fact you can secure your bag a bit more is a breath of fresh air with this specific model. I find it so cool especially the one that has the brown croc finish.
If you’ve been a DeMellier fan for as long as I have, you’ll know that the brand often collaborates with leading influencers and VIPs to create their own take on its signature bags. Rather than starting from scratch, each ambassador reimagines an existing design with an exclusive, limited-edition finish — a clever way to give an already-loved style a fresh perspective.
My absolute favourite from the 2026 Icons collection has to be the Stockholm Shoulder by Rebecca Donaldson. It feels like the perfect combination of understated elegance and modern chic, with that special limited-edition touch that makes it stand out.
Another model I will always be faithful to is the Vancouver clutch. I have the croc finish and the red suede which again was a limited edition. However, the cute and the dainty chain make this bag so chic and also practical. It is perfect for travel too and amazing bag for special occasion or simply if you want to upgrade your simple T-shirt and jeans look.
