Last week on Wednesday I had such a busy diary with all events and press days that took a day off to make it worthwhile. Arcadia press days is one of the most exciting as you see not only one brand but several and those are one of the most popular at British Highstreet….Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Evans, Miss Selfridge and BHS. The whole theme was botanical garden and it suited the collections so well and it had fun effect for all the viewers. Every brand had it’s on surprises from birds cages to garden swings. A bit like Alice in the Wonderland.

Some collections had lot of in common however they stayed true to their style and customers. However, 70’s theme was evident in most of them. I loved some of the light trench coats in Wallis, some 70’s suede dresses in Dorothy Perkins and some cool designs in Toshop including that white and blue printed dress. That would be a perfect number for Fashion Week. Evans introduced lot of sparkle and embellishment which is always a great way to make your clothes to look different. And I also saw lot of snake print on clothes and shoes.

Topshop had also lot of khaki colour going around the collection which is in for autumn winter as well so khaki lovers stay tuned and you do not have to give this trend up in the next few months. I also love the amount of suede in lot of the collections. It is cool material and perfect for playing with textures. I hope you get the feel of the trends and colour schemes from the pictures. However, you are in for a treat with Arcadia brands next season.

Minuly tyden ve stredu jsme mela tak nabity diar, ze jsem si zkratka musela vzit volno, abych vsechny zvladla. Jedna z tech velmi oblibenych, bylo predstaveni novych kolekci na jaro a leto spolecnosti Aradia, pod kterou patri me oblibene znacky jako Topshop, Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Evans ci Dorothy Perkins. Cele misto se neslo v duchu botanicke zahrady a myslim, ze se to ke kolekcim velmi hodilo. A nejvtipnejsi byla goodie bag, protoze si kazdy mohl vybrat svuj maly kaktus.

Myslim, ze kolekce mely dost spolecneho jako napriklad inspiraci sedmdesatymi lety a take hodne semise a potisku, ale presto se lisily a zachovaly si svuj styl. Nejvice se mi libily veci v Topshopu a take Dorothy Perkins. Myslim, ze kazdy si v kolekcich prijde na sve, ale ja osobne mam sedmsedata leta moc rada.

Doufam, ze se tesite na jarni kolekce stejne jako ja. Nektere kousky budou k dostani uz v lednu.
