You know those days when something bad happen and it does not have to be something awful but maybe you miss a train or your friend cancels on you again! Well, sometimes or actually very often bad things can lead to good things. Imagine you miss a train but then you let your boss know and you get a pass to work from home. Well, not so bad after all, is it?

Well, why am I even mentioning this? The story is that my husband broke his ankle last week at football. It is not the end of the world but he has to work so this morning he went to catch a train in the rain with bag over the shoulder and walking slowly with his crutches. Hard I know. Then I got a message which I did not want…you will have to drive and pick me up at the station tonight and you will be dropping me off in the morning..!! Oh no!!

The reason why I mentioned is that I have been putting off driving on the left side for years. I used to be a decent driver but not here!!! To be fair it was one of my resolutions for this year to start to drive here but I am so terrified I swear. I genuinely believe that this is the moment. The moment when I have no excuse and just have to deal with it. It is that bad situation that will lead into something good! I will finally start to drive.

And I just did!! I did my short drive with my left leg shaking like mad but I am so proud of myself! LOL

Znate to, kdyz se stane neco spatneho a nemusi to byt neco katastrofalniho…ale treba vam ujede vlak pred nosem, nebo kamaradka zrusi veceri! Uz po treti!! Ne vzdy ale spatne veci vedou k dalsim spatnym vecem, naopak! Casto mohou spatne veci vest k tem dobrym a je to jedina mozna cesta, jak vas donutit neco udelat nebo se dostat na spravnou cestu. Kdyz vam ujede vlak a zavolate do prace, ze se tak stalo, treba vam zrovna sef rekne, ze mate pracovat z domu. Ta spatna vec, ktera se udala v sedm rano, ma ihned lepsi vyhlidky.

No a proc o tom pisu? Muj manzel si na fotbale minuly tyden zlomil kotnik. No co vam budu povidat. Neni to konec sveta, ale take zadne terno. A protoze v Britanii je system tak jak je, tak se uz v pondeli vydal do prace, v rani spicce, v desti, o berlich s taskou pres rameno, nadopovany ibuprofenem a poslal mi zpravu. Budes pro me muset prijet autem vecer na vlakovou zastavku, jinak to nedam. A budes me tam muset rano vozit. Cozeeee?

A proc to zminuju v dnesnim clanku? No protoze se uz roky odhodlavam, ze zacnu v Britanii ridit, ale mam z te druhe strany zkratka respekt a navic jsem vysla hodne ze cviku. Prakticky ridim akorat jednou za rok a to na Morave po okoli a to neni tak narocne. No co vam budu povidat, od rana na to myslim, ale vim, ze prave tato situace me konecne donuti a posune dal.

Zkratka citim, ze tato “spatna” situace je prave ta, ktera me konecne donuti, se k tomu odhodlat. Bylo to totiz moje letosni predsevzeti, ze tady konecne zacnu ridit.

A prave jsem se vratila z prvni mini jizdy. Noha se mi na spojce kmitala jako blazen, ale zvladla jsem to a jsem na sebe pysna! LOL

Beauty: My Hair Journey and Love for 3 More Inches Treatment

During my life I have had several “traumatic” experiences with my hair. Especially as a teenager when I was trying to find myself until I realised what I feel the best in. There were couple of times they cut my hair so short that I cried for days. There were times when I wanted to get rid of red hair colour and not only I had allergic reaction but I also ended up with pink hair after. So at those points I decided I will not listen to hairdressers when it comes to their ideas about my cut and so on. That was my rule. And for a long time I sticked to it. I came to all hairdressers with a vision and did not let them to change my mind. Until few months ago…

A very well known hairdresser said I should do this and that and I left in tears. He cut it way too short and also created layers which I did not know how to work with. Well, lesson learnt. I am now again on a mission to grow my hair and get them to the best possible health.

However, I noticed my hair got much drier and the health wasn’t what it was before. I went through an awful infection about a year ago and my hair lost it’s shine and got much drier during that month. It was a big breaking point for me. It is never good news for somebody that is keen to grow their hair.

This was all until I started to use 3 More Inches Life Saver Pre Wash treatment by Michael Van Clarke. I was invited to try the treatment in the salon and what a pleasant experience it was. Everybody listened to what I want but also even after that one visit I saw a visible change to my hair. So I could not wait to start to use this at home. I have been now using the treatment, shampoo and conditioner for few months and things are getting so much better.

The whole collection of products is fantastic. I use the treatment minimum once a week and you get the best results when you sleep with it. The hair soaks it in so you do not have to worry about wet pillow case. And you simply continue with shampoo and conditioner in the morning. It is silicone-free products and it contains cashmere protein that help to repair the hair. I am not there yet fully with the length and the health but I have noticed huge improvement and that feels amazing.

It is all about getting on the right path and keep the right routine to achieve what you want.

Za svuj zivot jsem si zazila nekolik “traumatickych” situaci u kadernika. Hlavne jako teenager. Jednou me ostrihali tak, ze jsem brecela tydny. Podruhe mi stahovala kadernice cervenou barvu a nejen, ze jsem dostala alergickou reakci, ale nakonec jsem mela vlasy ruzove. Nikdy na to nezapomenu, protoze jsem jela na stredni na vylet do Londyna a komenty na me ruzove vlasy prichazely jeden za druhym. No a tenkrat jsem se zarekla, ze uz nenecham kadernikum volnou ruku. Pujdu si vzdy za svou vizi a z te neslevim. Zkratka budu poslouchat sebe a ne kadernika.

No a to jsem nedavno bohuzel porusila a opet jsem odchazela zklamana. Nebylo to tak dramaticke, ale jeden velmi znamy kadernik, ktere striha a cese ty nejvetsi svetove hvezdy me presvedcil, ze vi nejlepe. Nevedel!!! Vlasy si mi zkratil opravdu mnohem vice a take prostrihal, coz mi uplne zmenilo strih a ja si proste nevedela rady se stylingem. A v ten moment jsem si rekla a dost, chci vlasy nechat rust a pracovat na zdravi vlasu a hydratovat. Pro nekoho nudne, ale hlavni je, ze se to co mate na hlave libi vam. Je to o pocitu a vnitrni spokojenosti.

Nejvetsi negativni zmenu jsem zaznamenala na vlasech asi pred rokem, kdy jsem dostala silnou infekci a skoncila na mesic v posteli. Prvni dva tydny jsem temer nemohla nic snist a to se opravdu podepsalo pozdeji na pleti i vlasech. Obecne mam sussi vlasy, protoze jsou vlnite a tohle me opravdu dorazilo. Pro nekoho kdo chce nechat vlasy rust a libi se mu zdrave, dlouhe vlasy je to tohle rana pod pas.

A tohle vse se udalo predtim nez jsem zacala pouzivat vlasovou masku, kterou si aplikujete pred umytim od Michael Van Clarke. Jmenuje se 3 More Inches Life Saver a je to oblibeny produkt mnoha celebrit. Michael pomaha spoustu znamym osobnostem s rustem vlasu a celkovym uzdravenim. Nejprve jsem navstivila salon, kde jsem si kuru vyzkousela a uz po prvni navsteve jsem videla velky rozdil.

Moc jsem se tesila , az budu produkty pouzivat doma. Nejlepsi vysledek je vzdy tehdy, kdyz s kurou ve vlasech spim. Vlasy krasne produkt nasaji, takze nemate mokry polstar a rano si vlasy vzdy umyju samponem ze stejne rady a potom aplikuji kondicioner. Uspech produktu je hlavne v tom, ze neobsahuje silikon a ma v sobe hodne kasmirovych proteinu, ktere pomahaji obnovit strukturu vlasu.

Nemuzu rict, ze jsem co se tyce vlasu, tam kde chci, ale uz ted vidim velke zlepseni. Vlasy jsou zdravejsi a nechavam je rust. Tato kura navic prospiva i me citlive pokozce hlavy, prestoze mi bezne mnoho produktu nesedi. Jsem rada, ze jsem na spravne ceste a o tom to je. Takze hura zdravym a dlouhym vlasum a jedeme dal.

Outfit: It is getting snuggly

I am now officially starting snuggly season of cashmere, wool and all the knitwear in the world. Last night I was not at a party ( LOL) but I was preparing all my knits for cosy autumn days and it felt good. This Falke jumper which is combination of cashmere and wool is my latest addition and it is so warm, so soft and looks fantastic. This brand just does fantastic, top fabric basics and functional clothing and I am so glad I discovered them.

The jumper was perfect item for that family park walk on Sunday and together with these amazing Dior Sunglasses it created cool, warm and stylish look. I grabbed these on Sunglasses shop in their sale which is full of amazing models and brands from YSL to Marc Jacobs and so much to chose from.

Well, bring it on…colourful leaves, cosy cuddles by the fire place, crispy morning walks…I am ready.

Oficialne jsem zahajila sezonu kasmiru, svetru, vlny a vsech moznych pletenin. Vcerejsi vecer jsem travila pripravou kasmirovych svetru, koupila jsem si to totiz novy pristroj na odstraneni tech otravnych chloupku, ktere se bohuzel na kasmiru hromadi a bylo to desne uspokojujici. Jak se vecery meni s vekem ze? LOL

A tohle je muj nejnovejsi prirustek, je to krasny a heboucky svetr od znacky Falke a je smesici kasmiru a vlny. Okamzite jsem si ho zamilovala. A byl idealnim kouskem na nasi rodinou nedelni prochazku.

A spolu s brylemi znacky Dior, ktere jsou momentalne ve sleve vypadal svetr a vubec cely look vyborne. Presne jak to mam rada, trosku cool a zaroven pohodli. Ulovila jsem je na Sunglasses shop, ktery ma ted uzasne slevy na bryle top designersky znacek jako YSL, Marc Jacobs a jine.

Podzim mam moc rada. Miluju na nem utulne vecery, ranni prochazky, kdy uz citite ten podzimni chlad a nejvice miluju prochazky barevnou prirodou. Jsem zkratka pripravena si to uzit co nejvice.

Beauty: Welcoming Autumn Glow

Autumn is here and even with cosy evenings at home and crispy days outside I am not willing to let a glowy makeup go anywhere. I wanted to share with you couple of key products I have been enjoying for some time and will be transforming them to colder months as a part of daily makeup routine. The tones fit perfectly this type of weather whether it is colder but sunny day or another rainy afternoon.

Recently I have been using the Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural Glow Foundation and I love it. It gives that natural glow you need. And you probably have seen all over my social media that I am obsessed with Dior Backstage Eye and also Glow Face palettes. They are my holly grail. And of course I love to set everything with my all- time favourite Translucent powder by Laura Mercier.

The rest is all about those perfect final touches and today I have used Tom Ford Brow Pencil together with Eye Liner, Guerlain Mascara, Tom Ford lipstick in the shade Naked coral and stunning Nars lip pencil.

This is a perfect makeup for crispy autumn day like today when you see the sun and feel the crispy air as soon as you step out. How beautiful!

Podzim je tady a s nim i utulne vecery doma a chladne dny a ja jsem se rozhodla, ze se nevzdam glowy makeupu. Pro nektere patri letu, ale ja jsem si nektere tyto klicove produkty tak oblibila, ze je budu pouzivat i v nadchazejicich chladnych mesicich a budou stale soucasti me makeupove rutiny. Tyto teple tony se hodi jak na slunecne chladne dny, tak na ty vice uprsene a jsou na podzim idealni.

Nektere produkty jsem pouzivala prakticky cele leto a to hlavne dve paletky od Diora, ktere vidite na fotografii a take makeup od Guerlainu. Strasne me bavi tyto barvy a opravdu pridaji pleti takovy ten lehky trpyt. A pudr od Laura Mercier je jeden z nejlepsich pudru na trhu vubec.

Tento svuj oblibeny zaklad jsem doladila Tuzkou na oci a take tuzkou na oboci od Toma Forda, ktere patri mezi me favority a take rtenkou od Toma Forda. I prestoze jsou cenove drazsi, musim rict, ze stoji za to, protoze krasne hydratuji a maji nadherne odstiny. Ted si take hodne pohravam s linkama na rty a dneska jsem pouzila tuto krasku od Nars. A nesmim zapomet na oblibenou rasenku od Guerlain.

Krasny makeup v teplejsich tonech na krasny, chladny, ale slunecny den jaky mame prave dneska v Londyne.
