As a long-standing user of many Currentbody products I feel obliged to share with you my opinion on the latest Currentbody mask. As a 44 years old that loves beauty and wellness I am huge on different tools that with one purchase can deliver home spa experience. You name it all. I have the Currentbody Sauna, All the different type of masks, Hair growth helmet and the RF which i adore. I am genuinely passionate about trying different things and pretty good at staying consistent.

Do not get me wrong I do love to leave a house and get pampered in salons and also support wonderful brands that create special experience for us. Having said that to find the time as working mum can be tricky so using tools at home is a great option for me and some of you. Being able to fit a treatment into my own routine, whenever I have a spare moment, makes such a difference. And if, like me, you love a little self-care but don’t always have time for a salon appointment, I think you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

In other words there are lot of extras and benefits which Series 2 did not have. I have tried Series 1 and Series 2 as well and I can simply state the latest launch is very though through but that is naturally reflected in the price.

The biggest benefit for me is the different lights which ultimately makes more personalised experience. Previously you had to purchase special mask for blemishes only now you can simply chose the type of light and decide if you want to treat acne, dull skin, work on your firmness, redness or fight pigmentation or wrinkles.

I also really like the idea that you can adapt your treatment depending on what your skin needs at that particular time. Some days I’m more interested in giving my skin a little boost and glow, while at other times I want to focus more on firmness or signs of ageing. That is something you couldn’t do with the previous mask.

But there is one thing I would say before you invest: the most expensive LED mask in the world won’t do much for you if it stays hidden in a drawer.

Consistency is key. CurrentBody recommends regular use, and personally, I think the best approach is to make it part of your routine rather than treating it as an occasional beauty ritual. I try to aim for at least three sessions a week — because ultimately, the best results come from actually using the thing!

Is CurrentBody Series 3 worth it?

If you already own the Series 2 mask and your main concern is targeting the signs of ageing, I would probably stick with the one you have. I don’t think you necessarily need to upgrade simply for the sake of having the newest version.

However, if you’re dealing with other concerns such as blemishes, redness or dull-looking skin, that’s where I think Series 3 becomes much more interesting. Having the option to use different wavelengths for different skin concerns makes it a more versatile device, and for me, that is what makes the upgrade more compelling.

Ultimately, whether it’s worth the investment comes down to what you want from your LED mask — and, most importantly, whether you’re going to use it consistently.
