Visit Ireland – Things to do

I recently came back from our trip to Ireland and despite being so many times before I fell in love with this place all over again. I wanted to share what we have been up to and perhaps give you some inspiration for your visit. It was our half-term holiday and we had a toddler and 7 years old so that can limit us in certain way but we managed to see quite a lot and came back with lot of experiences.

Dublin

Capital of each country is probably always the obvious however Dublin is so worth it and has an incredible charm. You pretty much can manage to see a lot in 24 hours as in the town center you can get everywhere on foot. My favourite spot is Trinity College that has incredible character and the library is something like from Harry Potter movie. I also adore Irish gift shops and they are so fun to browse. Perhaps grab yourself a treat from Aran sweater shop or the University gift shop. And I would suggest a little walk around Temple bar area and snap a cute shot with the views of river Liffey. If you love shopping then Grafton Street is probably the best option as I know so many people love to splurge on different things when travelling. And Brown Thomas even has really good luxury stores if that is your thing. We were so lucky with the weather as it was perfect sunny but crispy day and I felt a bit like in Gilmore Girls especially at the campus.

Relaunched Dining Hall in Harrods – The Grill Review

The Grill in the recently relaunched Dining Hall in Harrods is a classic. This is Harrods’ own labelled restaurant and such a good spot for lunch or dinner whether you are shopping or simply you just come here to enjoy their menu that includes lot of classic steak cuts as well as Japanese Wagyu or braised beef croquets. I absolutely adore Studio Frantzen which is also to be found in this department store but if you love a good steak this is a must.

I was curious about this well known steakhouse after the reopening and have no regrets about our delicious dinner. We had a wonderful weekday day night and left fully satisfied after a scrumptious dinner. I love the whole atmosphere of Harrods and the Dining Hall is no different. Shoppers or simply restaurant visitors (if you do not want to take the shopping part) eat and enjoy drinks in stunning environment and we also got fantastic service. We started to chat to our fabulous waiter who was originally from Hungary but lived here for many years. As an immigrant I am always curious about people’s background. He was very professional and helpful and despite of the restaurant being very busy the staff provided very efficient service.

If there is a steak tartare on the menu I am pretty much always strong on the starter option and as expected I loved it. It was slightly different to what I am used to but divine and my husband and I went traditional on Rib Eye medium rare and lot of additional sides like chips, mash, macaroni cheese and creamy spinach. And let me tell you the macaroni cheese were the best I have ever tried. I would come back just for those. During colder season I prefer to drink red wine and we just went for house red Bourgogne Pinot Noir which mark my words I said after tasting – I cannot believe this is your house red.

The Grill really is such a key place to Harrods and I will be coming back. I would love to bring my parents here as I know they would love it. They appreciate good quality food and wine as well as service and this was spot on for us.

You can explore more from the menu or make booking here for the Grill.

Feel to explore my other Tips of the week and where to eat. Watch mini vlog from The Grill.

Top 10 Autumn outfits round up/inspiration how to stay stylish

SHOP THIS LOOK

Staying stylish does not have to be that difficult. Looking at inspiration and trying to shop your closet whilst perhaps investing in 2-3 new pieces that will help you to recreate some cool looks.

I have said it numerous times but Autumn is my favourite season when it comes to dressing as the opportunities are endless. On a warmer day you can wear the juxtaposition of sandals and warm coat or bare legs and big scarf. I find this time of the year to be the most playful and you can utilise so much from your wardrobe. You may still pull out summer dress and wear it with wool blazer or leather jacket or you can wear shorts and cashmere jumper with a faux fur waistcoat over. Endless ideas and endless combinations. It is also best time for the sporty chic looks and hats.

At this time of the year I start to also drop colours and go more neutral and if it is colour it is green, metallics, deep reds and brown, navy and similar. I am always with my head up in the clouds seeing myself on an perfect autumn stroll with coffee in my hand or having al fresco lunch in Paris watching the leaves on the ground and stylish people walking by.

Ok so here are some stylish ideas and hopefully something will catch your eye. I am loving the textures and other fun aspects.

You can also shop some items to help you to recreate these looks.

10 Autumn and Halloween nails desing ideas

source

Autumn is in full swing and Halloween is round the corner. Not everybody is a huge fan of Halloween however halloween nails come highly in search on so many platforms that I decided to bring you my favourite autumn vibe nail ideas.

I am not personally such a good fan of crazy nail designs but tried to cherry pick the best yet wearable nails to get you in to the halloween spirit. In general I love burgundy and cherry red shades and I also love browns and khaki shades for this time of the year. I am a simple kind of girl but there are so many halloween lovers so nothing wrong with little ghost or spider web for living your halloween life for few weeks.

I can really see myself personally wearing lot of mink tones, grey or even black and keep things very simple but it is not for everybody and there are just many girls that stick to one thing. I personally love the first image very much and despite each nail looking so different the whole design is so cohesive and really brings on the right atmosphere.

Whether you go to salon to have your nails done or do it at home here is some inspiration for you. You can also browse my favourite burgundy nail varnishes that are very affordable. If you are like me and decide to go for more simplicity you can look at my personal favourites at Amazon. The khaki shade is incredible for autumn and one of my top shades.
