First half of 2021 is done..let’s look back

We are approaching end of July and I am sitting here and thinking how fast the first half of 2021 went. I thought it would be a good time to reflect what has happened so far and how is life during pandemic. As let’s face it covid is still here with us and does not look like it will be taking Virgin rocket to the moon. Although things seem somewhat normal here in UK I am still worried that autumn may bring another lockdown however, I am staying positive and hope that the government know what they are doing?!

I actually slowed down a lot when it comes to content creation and it feels great. At this point I am getting back. You can watch one video a week on my youtube so hurry up and hit that subscribe button. I also had several campaigns mainly on TikTok and I cannot wait to get back to it. I slowed down a lot when it comes to filming Tiktok videos. Truth be told I did not feel inspired or motivated due to changing algorithm. It is so much fun to create content in the summer as you are busy with social life, you have holidays and you travel. That gives you fun opportunities to create and you are inspired. On the other hand other people do it too and that means engagement goes down :)

I am so grateful that I managed to travel to Czech this summer and I could enjoy great weather and time with my family. That has been one of the best experiences this year. It was worth all the 15 tests we had to do as a family. However this also put me off travelling abroad so we decided to spend another holiday here in UK. We recently came back from Cornwall and had such a wonderful time. I am planning to share some content with you from there. Weather was on our side so it really felt like being at our beloved South France. We just ate more pasties LOL.

I am now obviously spending summer with Liam who is off school and let me tell you content creating with him constantly home is not as easy. I am determined to find a way as always and bring you as many videos, images and articles as possible.

Mame za sebou prvni pulku roku 2021 a cervenec je skoro u konce a tak jsem si rikala, ze neni spatne se ohlednout, jaky ten prvni pul rok byl. Nebudu vam lhat, spoustu mesicu vetsina z nas prozila v lockdownu a je tak tezke rict, ze se delo neco noveho :) Bohuzel take vsichni vime, ze covid nikam neodesel a tak prestoze v Anglii nam vlada vse plne rozvolnila, tak mam obavy, jake nasledky tohle bude mit na podzim. Nejak jsem si zvykla, ze zivot je skoro normalni. A uprimne se mi nechce moc vracet k tomu, ze se nemuzu schazet s lidmi ci si zajit do restaurace.

Ja jsem na par mesicu dost zpomalila, co se tyce tvorby obsahu a prace a citim se skvele. Pomalu se vracim k toceni a tvorbe, na youtube vas ceka jedno video tydne a urcite i vice clanku tady na blogu. Hodne jsem ubrala u tvorby na TikToku, jelikoz jsem necitila inspiraci a taky me prestaval motivovat menici se algoritmus:) Na druhou stranu vetsina spolupraci, ktere jsem letos mela, byla prave na Tiktoku. Firmy opravdu investuji do propagace prave na teto platforme. A paradoxem je, ze behem leta se mi tvori obsah asi nejlepe. Cestovani, pocasi a dobrodruzstvi nam dava spoustu moznosti pro tvorbu a inspiraci. Bohuzel na druhou stranu je engagement vzdy nejslabsi, protoze si leto uzivaji vsichni.

Jsem tak vdecna, ze pres vsechna uskali se mi podarilo navstivit rodinu v Cesku a uzit si tam krasne pocasi a take kulatiny meho taty. Stalo to za vsechny ty testy a ze jich nebylo malo. Pro nas tri to bylo celkove patnact testu a to me opravdu odradilo od dalsich zahranicnich cest. A tak nase dalsi dovolena byla v Cornwallu. Pocasi nam opravdu pralo a prisla jsem si spise jako v Jizni Francii, jenom s tim, ze jsem jedla vice Pasties :)

A ted me ceka leto v Londyne. Urcite jeste neco podnikneme o vikendech jako rodina a chci si leto uzit co nejvice. Jelikoz jsou ale letni prazdniny, Liam nechodi do skoly a tak jsou veci jako tvorba a prace trosku slozitejsi. Budu se ale snazit tvorit pro vas co nejvice, at uz jsou to vlogy, videa ci clanky.

To Retouch or Not to Retouch

To retouch or not to retouch is the question. I am one of many reacting to the picture by Khloe Kardashian. Well, for me the answer is not so simple. I believe she has full right to do what she wants without being judged or criticised. The whole family build the brand on looking immaculate and if that is the case and they post perfect retouched images it is their choice. She also has a right to take down image if she wants to. As with anything in life some people with praise it and some will hate it. The issue is that human beings do not want to take responsibility for themselves.

People and women especially need to learn to love their bodies as they are. The problem is that social media stars and celebrities are constantly pointed at that they are not showing the real deal. Well, I am firm believer that if you love yourself deeply and accept yourself as you are that retouch image of a super star will just leave you cold. You would not care one person is size 20 and the other is size 6. You are just happy with yourself and look after your body mentally and physically.

I am not the type of influencer that is demanding when it comes to her images. I do not retouch much apart from the od spot and I do not retouch my figure. There has been couple of photographers that have done it for me in the past but again I left it as was. It is their style and brand after all. f you ever meet a person that has been shooting with me you realise I am happy with little. I am not a diva that takes hours to get the perfect image as I am happy with few selections. However, again that is my choice. If I take a picture down again it is my choice and it is my choice to work like that too.

I am definitely not here to judge what people put on social media. And trust me I met so many girls from the blogging industry that when you see them in real life you cannot recognise them. That is how much different they look to their images. Again that is what they chose to do.

So let’s be more open to people’s choices and mainly love our bodies as they are.

Remember there is no right or wrong.

Retusovat ci ne? To je otazka, ktera se porad propira v mediich a na socialnich siti. Asi uhadnete, za jako spousty dalsich reaguju na skandal okolo fotografie Khloe Kardashian. Odpoved neni cerna a bila. Khloe Kardashian a cela jejich rodina ma svou znacku, ktera je vybudovana na urcite image. Pouzivaji top fotografie, filtry a retus a vyplatilo se jim to. Kazdy ma pravo jit cestou, kterou chce. Jsou Instagramove hvezdy, ktere se proslavily ukazovanim striji a jsou hvezdy, ktere maji dokonale upravene fotografie. A myslim, ze neni treba soudit ani prvni ani druhou skupinu. Kazdy ma pravo si na svuj profil dat co chce a kdykoli to smazat. Problem je v tom, ze lide nechteji klast zodpovednost na sebe.

Lide a zejmena zeny se musi naucit milovat sva tela jak jsou. Je to sice proces, ale cim vic na sobe v tomto smeru pracujete, opravdu tim mene vas drasa prave takova fotografie. Ja moc dobre vim, jak funguje modni prumysl a vubec si nelamu hlavu tim, ze je neco hodne retusovaneho, protoze zkratka vim, ze dana osoba proste takto nevypada. A hlavne se me to ani netyka. Kdyz se mate radi, je vam jedno jestli na vas na instagramu vyskoci modelka velikosti 34 nebo plnostihla zena. Je to o vas a o vasem postoji ke svemu nitru a vasemu telu.

Ja nejsem bloger, ktery foti hodiny jeden outfit. Jsem docela nenarocna. Az na par fotografu, kteri me retusovali, se ja moc neupravuju. Spis pracuju se svetlem, mozna vymazu nejaky ten pupinek a to je vse. Jsem jedna z tech malo narocnych a spis ten kdo je za fotoaparatem me nuti, ze bych mohla jeste zkusit par fotek, at mam na vyber. Ale to je opet moje rozhodnuti. Neni to ani spravne a ani spatne. Kdyz uz neco fotim, tak se soustredim na detaily v realnem case a v post produkci uz moc zmen neuvidite.

Nejsem tady abych soudila nekoho, jak vypada, jak retusuje ci jestli si vyfotil akne. Verte mi, ze jsem potkala spousty blogerek, ktere jsem v realu ani nepoznala. Nektere zkratka pouzivaji fotografie tak editovane, ze na vas v realu mluvi jina osoba. Je to ale opet jejich volba.

Je treba byt otevreny a nezaujaty a hlavne mit rad same sebe. Jde o to zacit, protoze to pro mnohe z nas muze byt dlouhy proces.

And if you just want to keep it easy box of chocolate is the nicest treat ever. No matter what you do on Valentine’s day make sure you and your partner have the best day and treat each other as much as you can.

Kdyz uz kupujete neco pro muze, budte chytra. Je tolik darku, ktere si pak muzeme pujcovat. Co treba krasny hrnek a muzete z nej pit, kdyz vam vas drahy chybi. Nebo co treba tyhle uzasne Givenchy bryle, ktere muzete tajne brat a rozsirit si tak vasi sbirku. Navic muzete na techto strankach najit tolik uzasnych modelu, ktere jsou momentalne ve sleve.

Ja rada davam darky, ktere manzelovi zustanou na delsi dobu napriklad hezky satek, penezenka nebo spodni pradlo. Pokud nechcete utratit moc, hezka kniha urcite udela radost. Parfem ci sluchatka jsou dalsim vybornym tipem.

Luxury Experience in Hampshire – Four Seasons

As a luxury lover I could not decline an invitation to experience visit at Four Season in Hampshire. I am a huge fan of English countryside and together in combination with good food, stunning spa, walks in the fresh air it is even nicer.

It is such an easy staycation for Londoners as it is under 2 hours drive depending on traffic or about an hour on the train. This previously Georgian manor house that was restored into luxury hotel is perfect for families. I was so impressed how children friendly and how prepared the hotel is. They have set buffet for kids which means no waiting and no ordering which was perfect for our constantly hungry toddler. And it is healthy selection and offers plenty of variety including desserts for the little ones.

And even their spa isn’t just about the adults. Children can use separate pool with amazing sharkies reef and other fun stuff. The swimming nappies are by the pool which is the nicest touch ever. I could not believe it to be fair. It is so convenient for the parents and their children.

There are horse riding lessons, currently ice skating experience and lot of beautiful land for walks, flying kites and outdoor playground. However if you fancy pigeons shooting or bird watching these are also available at the hotel. You simply will not be bored.

I can highly recommend to try their Hampshire Herbal massage that is inspired by Jane Austen. Austen lived in Hampshire and used to grow herbs in the garden. Hotel found an inspiration and created massage where they use mint, chamomile and lavender during the massage. It gives incredibly relaxing and aromatherapy feeling. And I cannot forget they have heated massage beds. Well, that was my first let’s say. The therapist was absolutely wonderful and extremely professional.

The wild carrot restaurant has got an incredible decor and stunning views. We were very impressed with the food quality and service. I totally threw away any dieting ideas and went in all the way including delicious glass of Malbec which was my first glass in 2020. And it was so worth it.

Liam also wanted to see the horses so we could not say no to him and overall we truly enjoyed our time at Four Seasons Hampshire. It offers immaculate service, great location, lot of fun activities and incredible hospitality and luxury. What else to ask for?

Jako milovnice luxusu jsem nemohla v zadnem pripade odmitnout pozvanku od Four Seasons v Hampshire. Mam moc rada anglicky venkov a kombinace dobreho jidla, lazni a cerstveho vzduchu je opravdu fantasticka.

Je to vyborna mini dovolena asi dve hodiny jizdy od Londyna anebo staci skocit na vlak a jste na miste zhruba za hodinu. Zrestaurovane Georgianske panstvi je dnes luxusnim hotelem, ktery stoji uprostred zelene a je idealni pro navstevu s detmi. Byla jsem nadsena ze servisu, ktery nabizi rodinam. Na obed maji deti prichystany bufet, takze zadne cekani. To se nam vyborne hodilo, protoze nase dite, kdyz ma hlad, tak pres to nejede vlak.

Pro deti je tam toho opravdu dost. Maji pro ne zvlast bazen, ktery ma skluzavky a jine prvky a dospeli si mohou uzivat sveho bazenu, jak kryteho tak venkovniho. Hotel dale nabizi lekce jizdy na koni, muzete si jit zabruslit, sledovat ptaky, strilet holuby ci si zajit s detma na skvele venkovni hriste. Muzete si objednat take masaz pro sebe. Ja jsem vyzkousela jejich tradicni bylinkovou masaz. Je inspirovana Jane Austen, ktera v Hamsphire zila a pouzivaji stejne bylinky, ktere kdysi pestovala na sve zahradce.

Hotelova restaurace Wild Carrot byla take vyborna. Dobre klasicke jidlo s vyhledem ven a krasnym tradicnim designem je vytecnou kombinaci. V takove dny je nejlepsi zapomenout na diety a poradne se do toho oprit. A taky ze jo. Nesmela chybet ani prvni sklenicka vina v roce 2020 a vytecny Malbec nemel chybu.
