Outfit: What I think about hiding likes on Instagram!

The social media industry has been talking about new Instagram strategy for a while and to be fair the talks never stop. The most recent changes are all about hiding likes and Instagram has been testing it in some countries like Canada or Ireland. Some people like the idea but there are lot of people that hate it.

I believe the main purpose of it is the take off pressure of Instagram users as mainly the younger audience can be mentally affected by lack of likes which leads to depression and constant comparison which is bad for your mental health. And I get it. So many of us have been there including myself. If I do not nail the time of uploading and miss it sometimes 10 minutes difference or choice of bad day can really affect you and the impression goes down and so do likes. I have done many mistakes in terms of my Instagram but I have to deal with it. We are all on the same boat and even the top influencers with 500 K plus have been affected. I have noticed some of them dropped 50 % when it comes to likes. Yes their likes are still very high but they dropped nevertheless.

I have not studied psychology but sociology which can touch in some ways mass psychology. And people do follow the crowd. I really believe if an average picture gets lot of likes lot of other people click automatically like just because it already has got 10 K. And on the other hand if brilliant picture has 100 likes they may not click on the little heart which most of the users seeking.

In other words we are affected subconsciously by what other people think and follow the crowd. So I am really keen to see how hiding likes is going to mix the cards. I secretly hope that the comments will go up as that may be the only way to demonstrate engagement publicly. That will also be a way how to engage with others. Lot of Instagram users still use the strategy liking lot of other images in order to get likes and now they will have to rely on comments. Yes people still use follow and unfollow strategies. But Instagram has now put on limit and you can only follow up to 6000 people. So the strategy that helped people like Negin Mirsalehi to get where she is now will not happen anymore. As you can see Instagram is really working in its favour and not for the users.

Either or I am up for testing it out. I am surrounded by quite few children and I find it very sad when 8 years old is asking how many likes picture with them on it got? I am all up for competition but I am definitely not up for this. It can deeply affect them if the likes are down and they are not old enough to understand there is nothing wrong with them but there are many factors that can affect the amount of likes. So let’s see how it all turns out in the end.

Instagram neustale prinasi nove a nove zmeny a uz nejakou dobu se mluvi o tom, ze Instagram testuje v nekterych zemich schovavani liku. Napriklad nekteri lide v Irsku ci Kanade uz nevidi liky. A vsichni o tom mluvi. Tato nova strategie ma priznivce, ale jako to byva ve vsem i odpurce.

Udajne hlavnim rozhodnutim pro tento krok bylo to, ze pocet liku vyrazne ovlivnuje mladsi obecenstvo. Srovnavani a nizky pocet liku casto vede k depresim a to muze vyrazne kohokoli z nas ovlivnit mentalne. A ja to chapu. Instagram dela bohuzel hodne ve svuj prospech, meni algoritmus a i velkym uctum vyrazne klesa pocet liku. Dokonce i velke ucty, ktere maji 500 K plus spadly az o padest procent. Dnes uz musi clovek opravdu analyzovat, kdy fotografii nasadit, aby se zobrazovala co nejvetsimu poctu vasich sledujicich a ziskala tak v prvni hodine velky engagement. Je to pomalu Instagramova veda.

Ja jsem udelala za tu dobu co mam Instagram hodne chyb (tou nejvetsi byly asi spatne zvolene retezcove giveway) a novy algoritmus me ovlivnil hodne, ale protoze se o to hodne zajimam, vim proc to tak je. Nejaky mladsi uzivatel ci dite nechape, proc jeho fotografie dostala jenom par liku. Prijde mi opravdu smutne, kdyz slysim od kamaradek, ze jejich osmilete dite se neustale pta, kolik uz ma liku. Ja jsem urcite pro soutezivost a dravost, ale ne takovym zpusobem. Osmilete dite totiz nechape, ze vysi liku ovlivnuje hodne faktoru a neni to o tom jaka je fotka, jak vypadaji a neznamena to, ze je s nima neco spatne.

Nestudovala jsem sice psychologii, ale sociologii a i tam jsem se urcite naucila neco o masove psychologii. Lide casto nasleduji masu, dav dokaze strhnout jednotlivce a proto verim v tom, ze kdyz popularni influencer nasadi velmi prumernou i podprumernou fotografii, ktera ma napriklad 10 000 liku, lide automaticky daji like prestoze fotografie neni nic specialniho. A pak muzete narazit na ucet skveleho fotografa, ktery ma prekrasne fotografie a ma 100 liku a mozna byste jeho fotografii preskocili.

A uz tohoto duvodu jsem zvedava jak nova strategie instagram zamicha karty. V kazdem pripade si myslim, ze se zvednou komentare. Jednim z duvodu je urcite fakt, ze to bude jeden ze zpusobu jak na sebe upozornit a nalakat ostatni na vas ucet. Ale i to uz Instagram omezil, takze strategie, ktera pred lety pomohla Negin Mirsalehi se dostat tam kde je ted, se vam uz asi nepodari. Dnes uz muzete sledovat maximalne 6000 uctu.

Jsem opravdu zvedava, jako vse to ma sve vyhody a nevyhody a bude to urcite zajimave. Vzdy bude tabor, ktery se bude bourit a druhy bude z nove strategie nadseny, ale svet, ktery se zene jenom za poctem liku mi prijde trosku smutny. Takze ja jsem ted v tabore podpurcu.

Summer is finally here and I cannot get enough. I spent a big part of June in Czech where the temperatures were super high and then I went to Ireland for a week where surprisingly it was the same. It was first time in like ten years when I actually wanted to jump in the cold Ocean and the beach was crowded.

And now back in London we have a decent weather. It is up and down but in general I love it. London summer can be fun as you can get heat wave and wear cute dresses or you can get day like this that you get to wear light shirt and nice jeans. This pair is one of my go to pairs and it is by GRLFRND denim. I love how their jeans fit and love the quality too.

This type of outfit is such classic and sometimes you are trying to find a way how to spice things up. Green cool bag like this and bright colour shoes add that perfect touch and make this look more out there. Leto je v plnem proudu a nemuzu se nabazit. Velkou cast cervna jsem stravila na Morave a pocasi bylo uzasne. No a pak tyden v Irsku, kde snad poprve za deset let bylo skutecne leto. To opravdu neznam a bylo tak horko, ze jsem mela chut skocit do ledoveho oceanu. Pro Iry je to normalni za kazdeho pocasi, ale ja bych za beznych okolnosti asi umrzla.

A ted jsem zpatky v Londyne a pocasi neni nejhorsi. Jednou je hur a jindy lepe. A takove Londynske leto umi byt. Jednou mate horky den a z toho musite vytahnout kabaty. V tento den bylo hezky a presne na takovy outfit jako lehka kosile a dziny. Tyhle jsou od znacky GRLFRND denim a jejich dziny mam moc rada. Je to dobra kvalita a hezky sedi.

Tento jednoduchy outfit je nadcasova klasika, kterou mam casto chut necim ozvlastnit. Vyrazna zelena kabelka a ruzove boty jsou presne to prave. Kabelka je k dostani na strankach Farfetch, kde moc rada nakupuju. Je to unikatni koncept a vyber je obrovsky.

3 Books to start with to learn about Law of attraction

Law of attraction has been all over social media. I am amazed by how many influencers have been talking about it, using it to achieve their goals and changing their lives to the best possible way of life. So many people are still very sceptical about if that works, what it is and some even laugh. Well, we all chose what we want so nobody is forcing others to believe it or live by it.

I discovered law of attraction 11 years ago. I know shocking. It was at the time when I had my first professional job in London and started to read the Secret. I wish I got other books in hand right after it. Secret is only that first introduction to this spiritual world and you need to educate yourself so much more. As not everybody can read just this and then nail it. The key to everything is your subconscious mind and your ego not so much and that could be a hurdle for lot of people.

Anyway, if you are at the very beginning of learning how it works and you want to start using the law of attraction I would recommend to start these three books. They are easy to read, will motivate you and will get you excited. They will start your journey and help you to understand this new positive way of life.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne – This book is almost a dummy guide to it all. It is the beginning of everything and will help you with the introduction. You will be motivated to find out more, you will be motivated to change. However, not all knowledge can be written in one book so you need to follow up and educate yourself more. You need more detail and you need to know how to actually change a way of thinking. This is definitely a great book to start with.

The Power by Rhonda Byrne – I started to understand more when I read The Power. It has got more guidance on how to change your way of thinking. How to attract money, health. It has more tips on how to deal with negative thoughts and this is the start of your journey. You know about the law of attraction from the Secret and now it is time to start to introduce it to your life. If I am having a bad period in my life or I feel I went off my path I grab this book and read it again. I find it more motivating than Secret and it explains things into more detail.

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero – This is one of my favourite self-help books I have read. It is written in a fun way, more modern, more current and it gives lot of tips. This is also a book which shows how much your subconscious mind works and how it is a key to everything. This book motivates me so much and I know I will read it again and again. At the back of the book the author also gives tips on other great books and most of them I loved reading too. This book is almost like a more modern version of the Secret with more detail and that is what you need to understand it more in depth.

These three books are a great intro to the whole Law of attraction way of living. There are so many other good books but if you read these three you are then ready take things to the next level. You are about to discover the most wonderful new world.

Zakon pritazlivosti je vsude kolem nas a v posledni dobou se s nim roztrhl velky pytel. Socialni media, blogeri a vsichni kolem v poslednich par mesicich rozjeli obrovskou kampan na to jak zlepsit svuj zivot, jak dosahnout svych cilu, jak se uzdravit apod. Nekdo je porad skepticky, nekdo se tomu dokonce i smeje, ale kazdy jsme na sve ceste v jine pozici, v jinem bodu a ti co neveri, nejsou jeste pripraveni se na tuto cestu vydat.

Ja jsem objevila Zakon pritazlivosti pred jedenacti lety, az se mi nechce verit, ze uz tak dlouho. Mela jsem svoji prvni profesionalni praci, byla ekonomicka krize a dostala se mi do rukou kniha Tajemstvi. Dnes si rikam, ze kdybych tenkrat vedela, ze potrebuju hned dalsi a dalsi knihy, abych vse pochopila do detailu, vse bude zase jinak. Ale vse je tak jak ma byt v ten spravny cas.

Tajemstvi je super, je to takovy prvni pruvodce a diky tomu vstoupite do spiritualniho sveta a zjistite, ze si vlastne tvorime svuj zivot svyma myslenkama. Jenomze vetsine lidi nestaci si precist jednu knihu, protoze hodne je to o nasem podvedomi a to je ten kamen urazu, kde vetsina ztroskota. A to prestoze jsem knihu cetla, jsem tenkrat nevedela. A tak jsem si rekla, ze jestli jste uplny novacek v zakonu pritazlivosti, ze vam poradim, ktere tri knihy si precist hned na zacatku, aby vam zacalo ono puzzle zapadat krasne do sebe. Tyto knihy vam pomohou objevit novy svet, lepsi svet a zjistite, ze vase myslenky tvori vas zivot. Takovych knih je na trhu opravdu spousta a muzu rict, ze treba posledni rok jsem na beletrii ani nesahla. Jedine co jsem kupovala byly takoveto knihy, protoze me bavi poznavat a ucit se o tom vice a vice. Tyto tri knihy vam pomohou zacit a dokonce si troufam tvrdit, ze je dobre je precist si je v tomto poradi.

Tajemstvi – Rhonda Byrne – Je to takovy uvod a pocatecni pruvodce. Tato kniha vam predstavi novy svet a vysvetli v zakladech jak zakon pritazlivosti funguje. Myslim, ze tato kniha vas nadchne, namotivuje a bude chtit vedet vice. Je to skvely zpusob jak zacit. Nekterym prijde pritazena za vlasy, ale to je protoze neni az tak detailni. Tajemstvi vam vse predstavi a ukaze vam novy zpusob ziti. Zjistite, ze si vlastne ridime svuj zivot, ale uz neni tak detailni v tom jak vlastne na to. Jak pracovat se svyma myslenka. Jak si veci pritahnout a nebo naopak jak se spatnym vecem vyhnout.

Moc – Rhonda Byrne – Tuto knihu miluju a doted kdyz mam spatne obdobi po ni sahnu a procitam si oblibene kapitoly. Kniha Moc mi dala vice detailu, vice informaci o tom jak pracovat se svyma myslenkama. Je to takova kniha, ktera krasne navazuje na Tajemstvi a dava vice prikladu jak na to. Jak se poprat s negativnim dnem, jak zahnat spatne myslenky apod. Tato kniha je mi urcite blizsi nez Tajemstvi, dokaze me vice motivovat a pripomenout mi, ze si vlastne ridim vse sama.

Jsi Borec – Jen Sincero – Tohle je jedna z mych nejoblibenejsich knih a vim, ze ji budu cist urcite nekolikrat. Je to takovy moderni pruvodce Zakonem pritazlivosti, da vam vice detailu nez predchozi zminene, nakopne vas, nabudi a budete chtit byt lepsim clovekem. Budete se chtit zmenit a zacit na sobe pracovat. Je to kniha, ktera se skvele cte a prestoze je spiritualni, tak tak nepusobi. Clovek se u ni nenudi a kniha dava konkretni tipy jak na urcite veci. Urcite si ji doporucuji si ji precist hned po Tajemstvi a Moci, protoze tato kniha uzavre takovy ten prvotni krok k vasemu novemu zivotu.

Tyto tri knihy jsou skvelym zacatkem pro ty, kteri chteji vedet vice. Pokud vas tohle chytne, myslim, ze po precteni jste pripraveni na dalsi, mozna slozitejsi knihy a jste pripraveni na novou cestu. Obcas je to o tom, co se vam dostane pod ruky a co vam Vesmir prinese do cesty, ale ja sama citim u nekterych slozitejsich knih, ze na ne nejsem jeste pripravena. Nektere jsem musela prestat cist, protoze mi v ten moment tolik nedavaly. Tyto tri knihy jsou jednoduche na cteni a mozna, kdyby clovek zacal cist hned neco slozitejsiho, tak knihu zavre a tim si zavre i cestu k tomuto zpusobu ziti. Mozna by si rekl…blbost. Je dobre zacit s necim co se dobre cte a je takove odlehcenejsi.

Outfit: Why We need more professionalism in blogging?

Professionalism is something that is expected in any area of work so why does it seem there is a lack of it within blogging? I have been in this industry for many years and encountered many different people. Are they all professional? No. However there are many that extremely professional and they create a good reputation in this industry. And that is the direction it should go. Sadly over the last week I came across so many stories within my circle of “colleagues” and I must say at times my jaw just dropped.

Let’s face it bloggers have been criticised so many times in printed and online publications and some critique came from highly respected people. And although the criticism probably does not apply for everybody in some ways some points are valid. Firstly there should be more respects in between creators towards each other. Some ways of communication are just not acceptable. And all it is is change the language, the tone and phrase things differently.

A friend of mine recently told me about a message on Instagram she recently got and she could not believe her eyes as somebody she barely knew asked for sensitive piece of information. On one hand I understand that being direct sometimes gets you what you need but you have to really judge these things carefully. And actions like this only create a bad image of influencers. Another friend that works within PR told me about an incident when the brand rejected a blogger’s proposition and what followed was extremely rude and aggressive response. If I was that PR I would have blacklisted that person forever as there simply would not be trust. I could not collaborate with anybody that has that sort of attitude.

Another friend got a message from an influencer that has recently started asking tell me how to make money fast! Is that so bad? No … but in the context of any other industry it is just strange. I cannot imagine that another professional for example within real estate, recruitment, audit, modelling contacts total stranger and asks them tell me how to make money fast. It is not professional way to do it and plus the tone of the message was very aggressive. Also hundreds of influencers share their tips on things like growth, money making and so on all over the internet. So it would question the other persons proactivity as anybody can find lot of information online and on youtube as well.

And these are just few things that made me thinking what can we do to change it. Yes if 50 % of us are going to be professional that is still only half and whoever has got dealing with the other half will get bad experience. I am glad there are extremely professional people and in some ways it is improving but it is still such a new industry, anybody can start at any minute, the competition is big and sometimes the circumstances are forcing people to act how they act.

Profesionalita se ocekava v mnoha oborech a tak premyslim, proc je ji v blogovani tak malo. Jsem pravdepodobne jedna z tech prvni blogerek a tak uz to delam nejaky ten patek a muzu rict, ze jsem potkala spoustu velmi rozlisnych lidi. A jsou vsichni profesionalni? Bohuzel ne. Nastesti je ale spousta, ktera jsou extremne profesionalni a ja doufam, ze timto smerem to take pujde dal. V poslednich par tydnech jsem slysela z kruhu svych “kolegu” pribehy nad kterymi mi zustava rozum stat a zaroven se nedivim, ze maji blogeri tak spatnou reputaci.

Co si budeme povidat, blogeri se probirali v nekolika tistenych i online casopisech a novinach a kritika byla v hodne pripadech od respektovanych zurnalistu. A prestoze se urcite nevztahuje kritika na vsechny, nektere body me ani neprekvapuji. V prvni rade musi byt influenceri vice profesionalni mezi sebou. Nektere zpusoby jednani jsou proste neprijatelne. Vse je o tom jak mluvite, staci trosku slusnosti, spravneho tonu a hned to vypada jinak.

Jedna znama mi nedavno rozhorcene rikala, jak ji nekdo koho sotva zna napsal na Instagramu o prosbu, ktera si myslim, ze byla docela drza a nemistna. Ja ocenuji, kdyz jde nekdo tvrde za svym, ale tohle byl trosku jiny pripad. Druha znama, ktera pracuje jako PR mi rikala, ze jedna blogerka, ktera je oslovila na spolupraci a byla zamitnuta reagovala velmi agresivni odpovedi. Zustaval mi az rozum stat. Pokud bych ja byla v situaci te PR tak tento clovek bude zapsan na blacklistu, protoze bych jich nemohla nikdy sverit do rukou propagaci zadneho produktu.

Dalsi znama mi rikala, ze ji nekdo naprimo a velmi zvlastnim tonem napsal, at ji rekne jak na Instagramu vydelat penize co nejrychleji. Je to blba otazka? Ani ne ale jakmile si tuto situaci aplikujete na cokoli jineho, je to prinejmensim divne. Predstavte si napriklad personalistu, realitniho maklere, auditora jak vkraci ke konkurenci nebo jim napise email and napise jim, at mu reknou jak rychle vydelat penize. V tomto pripade me napada jen to, ze to musi byt nejaky linejsi clovek, protoze internet je zaplaveny tolika tipy jak rust, jak zacit a ta dana osoba si to muze proste jenom vyhledat.

Je smutne ze ne vsichni si uvedomuji, ze kazi reputaci ostatnim, pokud se chovaji nemistne. A tohle je jenom par prikladu za poslednich par dni. I kdyby 50 % z nas bylo profesionalnich, porad je to jenom polovina. Bohuzel blogovani je neco, kde neni treba kvalifikace a nejsou urcena pravidla a je to vlastne relativne nova zalezitost. Kdokoli muze zacit prave tady a ted a to je obcas ten problem. Blogovat muze zacit starsi slusny clovek, mladsi vysokoskolak a stejne i ten, kteremu profesionalita absolutne nic nerika. Urcite se to da zmenit, ale je potreba tohle tlacit vic do sveta a ukazat ostatnim, ze profesionalni chovani je treba ve vsem.
