Outfit: How to dress during Holidays

We are so close to Christmas and I am trying to keep the Christmas spirit by doing things I love in December. I make mulled wine more regular type of drink in the evenings, I try to watch Christmas movies and as each year I went to see Nutcracker. One thing where I feel I have been failing is fashion and dressing. It is such a good time to wear sparkle, dresses, velvet and more fun stuff so this time I finally pushed myself and put on this sequin dress that has been in my closet for few months. However, everytime I look back at my Vlogmas videos I see I opt for comfort because it is either cold, I have no time and I am rushing. LOL

So, I would suggest we all enjoy the fashion in December. Let’s embrace velvet and all the gorgeous puffy sleeves that are trending right now. Let’s wear big statement earrings and sparkly shoes and just have fun. Let’s get out of the comfort zone when it comes to makeup as this is the time. January will come soon and people will moan and will be depressed. I know it as it repeats each year…same old story. Your best gown will be your Sweaty Betty leggings and you can say bye to a party as you will be more likely trying the latest detox. LOL

Vanoce jsou za dvermi a ja se snazim delat veci, ktere si nejvice uzivam prave v prosinci. Delam si doma dobry svarak, koukam na vanocni filmy a jako kazdy rok jsem si zasla na Louskacka. Je to takova moje tradice. V jedne oblasti trosku pokulhavam a to je obleceni. Miluju flitry, samet a vubec krasne saty a toto je to nejlepsi obdobi jak toho vyuzit a tak jsem se konecne rozhodla si dat tyto flitrove saty prave na balet. Musim priznat, ze kdyz se zpetne divam na letosni Vlogmas, tak si vzdy volim pohodli, protoze bud specham, nebo se mi nechce, nebo je zima. LOL 

Ale myslim, ze na sebe musim byt prisnejsi a vyuzit toho, ze je to idealni doba na to si dat krasne saty a vsechny ty bluzy s velkyma rukavama a vyrazne nausnice. Leden je za rohem a jako kazdy rok se vse obrati, vsichni kolem budou na detoxu a jejich obleceni budou hlavne leginy do fitka. Kazdy ma deprese, nechce si dat ani sklenicku vina a vetsina lidi je akorat zalezla doma nebo ve fitku. A tak toho pojdme vyuzit dokud se da. LOL

Outfit: British Fashion Awards in Attico

This week started slightly differently than any other week as I got to attend British Fashion Awards. One of the most exciting and most glamorous events in Fashion in UK. And let me tell you it was an incredible experience.

I was so blown away by all the talent and glamour that decided to dedicate my ELLE column to this fabulous evening. It really deserves a spot in any magazine. Royal Albert Hall was full of talented fashion industry professionals, stars, actors, singers and the biggest fashion icons. And each time somebody appeared on the stage I thought it would not get any better and then it did. Whether that was Naomi, Julia Roberts, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and so many other amazing people. Daniel Lee from Bottega Veneta scored 4 awards which is unreal. When I posted this on my Instagram my friend Veronika messaged me that she remembers when he started as an intern for Celine. At the time she worked for Celine as a fit model and look few years later he is an incredible fashion star. That is just mind-blowing. From intern to 4 awards in 2019 in just few years.

You probably read so much online that I do not want to repeat all the successes some people got to celebrate that night. However, I wanted to share with you my thoughts. Firstly, I admit I was a bit nervous. Is my dress good enough? You always question that as you are surrounded by incredible famous people that have professionals and full teams that help them to get ready. In the end I was so happy with my dress, my makeup and my hair. I chose this green dress by Attico from Farfetch and I felt amazing. It is glam, it is comfortable and the colour really helps you stand out. Together with my black Manolos and sparkly bag it created perfect combo.

 The whole night was just unforgettable and I wish everybody could experience it. When it all finished I felt so inspired and motivated. It was simply an evening I will never forget.

Tento tyden pro me zacal trosku netradicne a v pondeli jsem mela tu cest se zucastnit British Fashion Awards. Je to jedna z nejvetsich modnich udalosti roku.  A muzu vam rict, ze to byl prekrasny zazitek.

Byla jsem tak nadsena, ze muj tydenni clanek pro ELLE jsem venovala prave tomuto veceru a pokud jste ho jeste necetli, podivejte se tady. Jelikoz tato akce byla snad ve vsech novinach i na socialnich mediich, nebudu vam tady opakovat, ze to bylo velkolepe a ze sal byl plnych hvezd jako Julia Roberts, Rihanna, Tom Cruise ci Janet Jackson. A o tom kdo odchazel s nejakym ocenenim se urcite doctete i jinde.

Spis jsem s vama chtela sdilet moje pocity. Pri pripravach jsem se citila trosku nejiste. Ale to je pochopitelne. Jdete na akci, kde jsou mega Hollywoodske hvezdy, ktere maji na pripravu hodiny a cele tymy. Maji na vyber ty nejlepsi saty a kazdy navrhar se asi muze pretrhnout, aby si na vecer vybrali prave ty jeho. Ja jsem se rozhodla pro zajimave zelene saty znacky Attico z online shopu Farfetch a podle odezvy na mem Instagramu to byla urcite skvela volba. Uz dlouho mi neprislo tolik zprav. Ve finale jsem se citila opravdu dobre a prestoze to nebyla klasicka vecerni roba, byla jsem opravdu spokojena. O vlasy se mi postaral salon Herseson, ktery ma na starosti hvezdy jako Victoria Beckham a byla jsem moc spokojena. Jak asi vite, nosim vlasy casto rozpustene, takze tohle byla prijemna zmena. 

Z vecera jsem odchazela jako ve snu. Nacerpala jsem za tech par hodin tolik inspirace, odesla jsem motivovana a myslim, ze na tuto zkusenost nikdy nezapomenu.

SHOP cargo pants

Cargo pants are a piece of clothing that have been coming and going in fashion. I remember in my teenage years how was I rocking these and now they are back. Some people love them and some hate them but we have seen them on the catwalks and in the streets.

I came across a blog of beautiful Thalita who wears them in this post and looks so fabulous. And I was so inspired that wanted to do dedicate an inspiration post. So here we are. I picked some more images I found on Pinterest and some more expensive and more affordable models that are currently available. I personally would wear them with more feminine items like a silk camisole and perhaps good pair of heels.

They are great for winter season as you can wear something slightly different than jeans and spice up your usual styling.

So which camp are you in? Yay Or Nay to cargo pants?

Kapsace jsou kousek obleceni, ktery se porad vraci. Pamatuju si jak jsem je hrde nosila, kdyz jsem byla na stredni. Nekdo je nesnasi a nekdo miluje. Kazdopadne navhrari i retezce prinasi nekolik skvelych modelu. 

Tento clanek jsem se rozhodla napsat, kdyz jsem narazila na blog krasne Thality a rikala si, sakra ta vypada vyborne!! Okamzite jsem zacala hledat inspiraci na pinterestu a clanek je na svete. Osobne se mi libi i s vice zenskymi prvky jako napriklad lodicky ci zajimave boty, ale je na vas, jak je budete nosit. 

Myslim, ze v chladnejsim obdobi jsou idealni. Je to prijemna zmena od klasickych dzinu a trosku ozivite svuj satnik. 

A co vy a kapsace? Ano ci ne?

Outfit: When something bad can lead to something good!!

You know those days when something bad happen and it does not have to be something awful but maybe you miss a train or your friend cancels on you again! Well, sometimes or actually very often bad things can lead to good things. Imagine you miss a train but then you let your boss know and you get a pass to work from home. Well, not so bad after all, is it?

Well, why am I even mentioning this? The story is that my husband broke his ankle last week at football. It is not the end of the world but he has to work so this morning  he went to catch a train in the rain with bag over the shoulder and walking slowly with his crutches. Hard I know. Then I got a message which I did not want…you will have to drive and pick me up at the station tonight and you will be dropping me off in the morning..!! Oh no!!

The reason why I mentioned is that I have been putting off driving on the left side for years. I used to be a decent driver but not here!!! To be fair it was one of my resolutions for this year to start to drive here but I am so terrified I swear. I genuinely believe that this is the moment. The moment when I have no excuse and just have to deal with it. It is that bad situation that will lead into something good! I will finally start to drive.

And I just did!! I did my short drive with my left leg shaking like mad but I am so proud of myself! LOL

Znate to, kdyz se stane neco spatneho a nemusi to byt neco katastrofalniho…ale treba vam ujede vlak pred nosem, nebo kamaradka zrusi veceri! Uz po treti!! Ne vzdy ale spatne veci vedou k dalsim spatnym vecem, naopak! Casto mohou spatne veci vest k tem dobrym a je to jedina mozna cesta, jak vas donutit neco udelat nebo se dostat na spravnou cestu. Kdyz vam ujede vlak a zavolate do prace, ze se tak stalo, treba vam zrovna sef rekne, ze mate pracovat z domu. Ta spatna vec, ktera se udala v sedm rano, ma ihned lepsi vyhlidky.

No a proc o tom pisu? Muj manzel si na fotbale minuly tyden zlomil kotnik. No co vam budu povidat. Neni to konec sveta, ale take zadne terno. A protoze v Britanii je system tak jak je, tak se uz v pondeli vydal do prace, v rani spicce, v desti, o berlich s taskou pres rameno, nadopovany ibuprofenem a poslal mi zpravu. Budes pro me muset prijet autem vecer na vlakovou zastavku, jinak to nedam. A budes me tam muset rano vozit. Cozeeee? 

A proc to zminuju v dnesnim clanku? No protoze se uz roky odhodlavam, ze zacnu v Britanii ridit, ale mam z te druhe strany zkratka respekt a navic jsem vysla hodne ze cviku. Prakticky ridim akorat jednou za rok a to na Morave po okoli a to neni tak narocne. No co vam budu povidat, od rana na to myslim, ale vim, ze prave tato situace me konecne donuti a posune dal. 

Zkratka citim, ze tato “spatna” situace je prave ta, ktera me konecne donuti, se k tomu odhodlat. Bylo to totiz moje letosni predsevzeti, ze tady konecne zacnu ridit. 

A prave jsem se vratila z prvni mini jizdy. Noha se mi na spojce kmitala jako blazen, ale zvladla jsem to a jsem na sebe pysna! LOL
