May 2020 be the best year yet

Here we are again we are closing the door behind another year and this time even another decade. It sounds quite scary to think that. I usually write about things I have achieved but to be frank this time I can do the summary just for myself. Instagram is flooded with Instagram stories of each blogger sharing what they have achieved and I am all up for celebrating success. However, I feel like it can give you more if you sit down and write down everything you are proud of just for yourself. It helps you with positive start and realise that you are GOOD ENOUGH.

The only few things I will mention is that I loved spending time with my son Liam, I started to write for ELLE and the book I have contributed to was published. So I can finally say I am a writer too although my other book is still in the process. Strangely at start of the year I had no idea about number two and three and see what life can throw your way.

2019 for me was a year of searching, learning and thinking. I really want to focus 2020 more on me, feelings, dreams but still give plenty of time to my family. I want to chose well what I spend my time on and who with. I want to surround myself with the people that inspire me, love me and I love them and give me joy. I want to spend time on activities that I love and make me feel good. And I mainly I want to be myself. I am so tired of all these profiles and people on social media that are not themselves. You have to own who you are, be true to yourself and that is what matters.

So may 2020 be the best year yet for all of us.

A je to tady. Zavirame dvere za dalsim rokem a tentokrat nechci clanek jako predchozi leta, kdy jsem shrnula, co mi rok prinesl. Tentokrat si sve uspechy a radosti sepisu sama pro sebe. Uz jenom z toho duvodu, ze kazdy bloger na Instagramu ma desitky stories, kde oslavuje sve uspechy. A to je v poradku, ale mam pocit, ze socialni online svet je v tyto dny zaplaveny a ze opravdu staci si v tichosti sepsat, co nam radostneho predchozi rok prinesl. A to udelam i ja. Pomuze nam to vstoupit pozitivne do dalsiho roku a desetileti.

Jedine tri veci ktere zminim jsou, ze jsem milovala kazdicky moment s Liamem, ze me bavi pozorovat jak se meni, roste a jak nam dokaze vykouzlit usmev na rtech i v ty pochmurnejsi dny. Dalsi veci ktere zminim jsou, ze jsem zacala psat pro digitalni verzi Ceske ELLE a take jsem se stala spoluautorkou teto knihy. Tyto dve veci by me na zacatku roku 2019 ani ve snu nenapadly. A podivejte, co zivot dokaze cloveku hodit pod nohy.

2019 byl rok, kdy jsem hodne premyslela, analyzovala, cetla motivacni knihy a hledala to, co me naplni. Snazila jsem se najit odpoved na to, zda jsem na spravne ceste, hodne meditovala a kladla si hodne otazek. A zjistila jsem jednu vec, ze chci v zivote mit ty lidi, kteri me posouvaji dal, maji me radi a ja mam rada je, inspiruji me a davaji mi neco pozitivniho. Chci dal pracovat na svych snech, ale chci take travit kvalitni cas se svou rodinou. Chci rozdavat radost, inspirovat a byt proste stastna. A hlavne chci byt sama sebou. Uz jsem unavena ze vsech tech profilu a lidi na socialnich mediich, co maji nasazenou masku, neukazuji svou pravou tvar a statisice lidi jim to vlastne veri. Chci byt sama sebou a byt na to pysna.

A Vam preju, at je rok 2020 ten nejlepsi.

Outfit: How to dress during Holidays

We are so close to Christmas and I am trying to keep the Christmas spirit by doing things I love in December. I make mulled wine more regular type of drink in the evenings, I try to watch Christmas movies and as each year I went to see Nutcracker. One thing where I feel I have been failing is fashion and dressing. It is such a good time to wear sparkle, dresses, velvet and more fun stuff so this time I finally pushed myself and put on this sequin dress that has been in my closet for few months. However, everytime I look back at my Vlogmas videos I see I opt for comfort because it is either cold, I have no time and I am rushing. LOL

So, I would suggest we all enjoy the fashion in December. Let’s embrace velvet and all the gorgeous puffy sleeves that are trending right now. Let’s wear big statement earrings and sparkly shoes and just have fun. Let’s get out of the comfort zone when it comes to makeup as this is the time. January will come soon and people will moan and will be depressed. I know it as it repeats each year…same old story. Your best gown will be your Sweaty Betty leggings and you can say bye to a party as you will be more likely trying the latest detox. LOL

Vanoce jsou za dvermi a ja se snazim delat veci, ktere si nejvice uzivam prave v prosinci. Delam si doma dobry svarak, koukam na vanocni filmy a jako kazdy rok jsem si zasla na Louskacka. Je to takova moje tradice. V jedne oblasti trosku pokulhavam a to je obleceni. Miluju flitry, samet a vubec krasne saty a toto je to nejlepsi obdobi jak toho vyuzit a tak jsem se konecne rozhodla si dat tyto flitrove saty prave na balet. Musim priznat, ze kdyz se zpetne divam na letosni Vlogmas, tak si vzdy volim pohodli, protoze bud specham, nebo se mi nechce, nebo je zima. LOL

Ale myslim, ze na sebe musim byt prisnejsi a vyuzit toho, ze je to idealni doba na to si dat krasne saty a vsechny ty bluzy s velkyma rukavama a vyrazne nausnice. Leden je za rohem a jako kazdy rok se vse obrati, vsichni kolem budou na detoxu a jejich obleceni budou hlavne leginy do fitka. Kazdy ma deprese, nechce si dat ani sklenicku vina a vetsina lidi je akorat zalezla doma nebo ve fitku. A tak toho pojdme vyuzit dokud se da. LOL

Outfit: When something bad can lead to something good!!

You know those days when something bad happen and it does not have to be something awful but maybe you miss a train or your friend cancels on you again! Well, sometimes or actually very often bad things can lead to good things. Imagine you miss a train but then you let your boss know and you get a pass to work from home. Well, not so bad after all, is it?

Well, why am I even mentioning this? The story is that my husband broke his ankle last week at football. It is not the end of the world but he has to work so this morning he went to catch a train in the rain with bag over the shoulder and walking slowly with his crutches. Hard I know. Then I got a message which I did not want…you will have to drive and pick me up at the station tonight and you will be dropping me off in the morning..!! Oh no!!

The reason why I mentioned is that I have been putting off driving on the left side for years. I used to be a decent driver but not here!!! To be fair it was one of my resolutions for this year to start to drive here but I am so terrified I swear. I genuinely believe that this is the moment. The moment when I have no excuse and just have to deal with it. It is that bad situation that will lead into something good! I will finally start to drive.

And I just did!! I did my short drive with my left leg shaking like mad but I am so proud of myself! LOL

Znate to, kdyz se stane neco spatneho a nemusi to byt neco katastrofalniho…ale treba vam ujede vlak pred nosem, nebo kamaradka zrusi veceri! Uz po treti!! Ne vzdy ale spatne veci vedou k dalsim spatnym vecem, naopak! Casto mohou spatne veci vest k tem dobrym a je to jedina mozna cesta, jak vas donutit neco udelat nebo se dostat na spravnou cestu. Kdyz vam ujede vlak a zavolate do prace, ze se tak stalo, treba vam zrovna sef rekne, ze mate pracovat z domu. Ta spatna vec, ktera se udala v sedm rano, ma ihned lepsi vyhlidky.

No a proc o tom pisu? Muj manzel si na fotbale minuly tyden zlomil kotnik. No co vam budu povidat. Neni to konec sveta, ale take zadne terno. A protoze v Britanii je system tak jak je, tak se uz v pondeli vydal do prace, v rani spicce, v desti, o berlich s taskou pres rameno, nadopovany ibuprofenem a poslal mi zpravu. Budes pro me muset prijet autem vecer na vlakovou zastavku, jinak to nedam. A budes me tam muset rano vozit. Cozeeee?

A proc to zminuju v dnesnim clanku? No protoze se uz roky odhodlavam, ze zacnu v Britanii ridit, ale mam z te druhe strany zkratka respekt a navic jsem vysla hodne ze cviku. Prakticky ridim akorat jednou za rok a to na Morave po okoli a to neni tak narocne. No co vam budu povidat, od rana na to myslim, ale vim, ze prave tato situace me konecne donuti a posune dal.

Zkratka citim, ze tato “spatna” situace je prave ta, ktera me konecne donuti, se k tomu odhodlat. Bylo to totiz moje letosni predsevzeti, ze tady konecne zacnu ridit.

A prave jsem se vratila z prvni mini jizdy. Noha se mi na spojce kmitala jako blazen, ale zvladla jsem to a jsem na sebe pysna! LOL

Outfit: It is getting snuggly

I am now officially starting snuggly season of cashmere, wool and all the knitwear in the world. Last night I was not at a party ( LOL) but I was preparing all my knits for cosy autumn days and it felt good. This Falke jumper which is combination of cashmere and wool is my latest addition and it is so warm, so soft and looks fantastic. This brand just does fantastic, top fabric basics and functional clothing and I am so glad I discovered them.

The jumper was perfect item for that family park walk on Sunday and together with these amazing Dior Sunglasses it created cool, warm and stylish look. I grabbed these on Sunglasses shop in their sale which is full of amazing models and brands from YSL to Marc Jacobs and so much to chose from.

Well, bring it on…colourful leaves, cosy cuddles by the fire place, crispy morning walks…I am ready.

Oficialne jsem zahajila sezonu kasmiru, svetru, vlny a vsech moznych pletenin. Vcerejsi vecer jsem travila pripravou kasmirovych svetru, koupila jsem si to totiz novy pristroj na odstraneni tech otravnych chloupku, ktere se bohuzel na kasmiru hromadi a bylo to desne uspokojujici. Jak se vecery meni s vekem ze? LOL

A tohle je muj nejnovejsi prirustek, je to krasny a heboucky svetr od znacky Falke a je smesici kasmiru a vlny. Okamzite jsem si ho zamilovala. A byl idealnim kouskem na nasi rodinou nedelni prochazku.

A spolu s brylemi znacky Dior, ktere jsou momentalne ve sleve vypadal svetr a vubec cely look vyborne. Presne jak to mam rada, trosku cool a zaroven pohodli. Ulovila jsem je na Sunglasses shop, ktery ma ted uzasne slevy na bryle top designersky znacek jako YSL, Marc Jacobs a jine.

Podzim mam moc rada. Miluju na nem utulne vecery, ranni prochazky, kdy uz citite ten podzimni chlad a nejvice miluju prochazky barevnou prirodou. Jsem zkratka pripravena si to uzit co nejvice.
